With Uncle Cus as the Captain of USS Tyson, I am sure Mike would have been heard of.
Though whether Mr Moore would be posting WANTED posters, to fight a young Tyson as he did with Marciano i am not so sure, perhaps 220 pounds of a fast moving wrecking ball might have best been avoided, there were plenty of other prey the Mongoose might be better facing.

 

He would be a God fighting from WW - L-HW, maybe 3, 4 fights a year and defeating & stopping most you put in with him.

 

Archetype Moore would have carved out an ATG career in any era.

 

He may have made "WANTED" Posters to fight Holy field at cruiserweight

 

In 43, Moore would have been 27-30 depending on what year he was born. Seems like he would have been fully developed by then, but he got significantly larger and not fat, either.

 

that's why I stated he would compete from WW - L-HW towards the end of his career, more accurately a WW cum MW as opposed to a MW cum L-HW, as you have pointed out, his Stature - Height, Weight and Build, in recent decades would have had him, like Every Other Fighter, competing down, with months between fights to do so, and he never would have even thought CW & HW, in these recent Era's.
