Have seen a lot of tweet hinting that Sharp has a world title fight very soon, I assume it would be with Shakur.

What do we make of Archie Sharp? For me he seems to coast far to much in his fights. In spells he can look quite decent but too often he looks very average.

Will he just be another Brit outclassed at World level?

I mean Stevenson looks like he could be a future p4p number 1 so it would be a difficult task for any fighter to beat him I think. But the boozers will be open and with the kind of backing that can provide Sharp may have a chance if he has an unbelievable night.

I dislike Shakur as a person but as a boxer I have to say that right now, from what I've seen, he's levels above Sharp.

Surely it would be Herring? Sharp no where near ready for Shakur

Sharps ranking is so false. His not proved himself at domestic level. His been ordered to fight a final eliminator for British against barrett. So far his beat area level guys. Him being in a position to fight for a world title is a joke.

I like Sharp, but he got very lucky against Ofori and seems to switch off a lot, almost as if he is uninterested. I can't see him fighting for a world title for a while still.

Probably just a load of hype trying to make some noise. like when yarde said he was stepping up to world level but then fought 5 bums in a row instead

Archie Sharp is domestic level best. He got gifted a decision against Jeff Ofori. The fact he now gets a World Title shot is criminal but typical of boxing today.

Sharp clearly is a talented lad but his last couple of outings have been quite worrying

He can get to world level but oh boy he has work to do

Herring must be vacating then cause shakur ain’t a champion at the minute but he is Mando for herring.

herrings made lot of noise bout wanting Valdez fight shame they wouldn’t let him keep the belt for a unification.

Probably a better move to try and clean out the domestic scene first.

Seems like a pretty unbelievable jump to go from getting a tight maybe controversial win against Ofori to fighting Stevenson lol.

FFS the gap is still huge just to fight Joe Cordina who looks very good himself.

I suppose its win/win fighting Stevenson.

Even if he gets whooped he will be from the long line of valiant Brits who dared to be great lol.
Then he can get a few more voluntary title shots against other champs that think they can beat him easier.

If he wins then that would be a mega win, he'd be at the top of the Brit p4p list, if he outclassed him.
A luckyish KO might not get him there

I'd like to see Sharp have a couple more domestic/Euro level fights before stepping up. Think he's decent though now.

Way too soon to be fed to the lions. We’re in a habit of rushing fighters and also writing them off after a loss.

The likes of Eubank jr needs commending, he’s took some risks, took some losses and he’s still a star attraction who will be back on the world scene.

He’s not fighting Shakur as he’s fighting some other no hoper nakathali or something. My guess is it was between him and Sharp and sharp missed out as he was probably more expensive. Top Rank for some strange reason have a great 130 stable and not matching them. No reason not to have herring vs Shakur next.

must be an eliminator I would guess next for Sharp my guess against someone like Joe Noynay

A good fight for a Sharp would be to give Ofori a rematch and do the job properly. Same with Adeleye.
