Archie Wright vs Rocco Marchegiano - fastest count ever?

    2nd KD of rd 6. Did anyone ever saw or heard a faster count? Wright still got up and survived rd 6, but it made him take punishment he did not deserve. Under a competent referee he would have gotten more time to get up and recover, and less time to take the following punishment.

    If the ref had really speeded up the count and reached 10, it would have only been a merciful reprieve for the Ol' Mongoose. Rocky put on a real clinic of methodical, systematic ass beating on Arch, after arising from that surprise kd. This was the type of fighter Rocky evolved into,...from the version of himself that needed that nuclear blast of a right hand to win the title in '52 from JJW.
