I'm very excited for this fight to be honest. I wasn't too impressed with Villarreal so far but i didn't see the LeShawn Rodriguez fight as it wasn't televised. Holmes on the other side is pretty solid and a tough matchup due to his height and volume. Unlike some other tall guys he can actually use his reach and height very well. I was impressed with his performance against southpaw Vernon Brown who gave Jamontay Clark a hell of a fight and even dropped him. Holmes ate a few bombs too in that fight so i'd say his chin got checked and looked good. Holmes dismantled Brown pretty easily. But i can see a path for Villarreal if Holmes fights toe to toe like he did with Brown in the last few rounds. Holmes was an alternate for the 2016 Olympic team btw. He has some good skills. I consider this as a true 50/50 fight but leaning Holmes. If Villarreal beats Holmes in fashion i'm with you on the Ismael Villarreal hype train and bandwagon for sure.

I'm looking forward to see him as well. Lots of buzz after beating Rodriguez. Then again, Holmes is no slouch either.

    Round 1 Scoby 10-9

Scoby landing rights on the southpaw Mannu with regularity, also getting in left hooks to the head and outjabbing him.

    Round 1 Scoby 10-9
Round 2 Scoby wins by KO

After dropping Mannu thrice with heavy rights, he pinned him to the ropes, and dropped him with a nasty body shot for the fourth time, the ref mercifully waves it.

Mannu was not bad before the first knockdown. But he was to reckless.

Really been looking forward to this one because I'm a massive fan of the referee Kevin Champion.

    Round 1 Lopez 10-9

Consistency from Lopez, but Vazquez had the moments.
