Are 80s boxers anatomically modern athletes ?

    I think the 80s is where modern day boxing rules were pretty much set in stone and the PEDs were flourishing

    I'm not sure the rules are the same. They're more modern, sure but they still had massive amounts of clinch work and infighting, and for at least half of the 80s, 15 rounders were the norm.

    I doubt it was any more prevalent in the 80’s. Sure, PEDS may have been harder to detect but they weren’t as sophisticated or as easy to mask.

    Any human evolution in that time would be virtually imperceptible too.
