The place I train at finishes every class with bodyweight exercises such as push-ups,planking,sit-ups etc. I dont mind doing them except it means I would be doing them 5 times a week and I feel like it might get in the way of the actual boxing training
if you always do the same thing then its not good even if its bodyweight excercise, but if you mix a little bit then its ok..
5 days is fine but drink plenty of water and get lots of rest After six weeks the body will adjust to the same routine and it wont benefit you anymore. Lots of water lots of rest. If you can sleep 10-12 hours on your days off or just be lazy and take a nap. Works wonders.
