Seen some people saying no, some people saying yes. Not sure if there's official confirmation yet. Hopefully no, but as far as PPV fights go this is one I wouldn't mind paying for.
I will be hacked off if we have to pay for it on top of the subcription, would be really poor imo. I would pay it cos im dying to see the fight, but would be really dissapointed to have to do so.
Been with BN since they started and will be pissed off if expected to PPV. On the BN site it does say '16 Sep Live on PPV'. It doesn't mention that on any other scheduled cards. Does BN sometimes do PPV for non-subscribers?
''Golovkin vs Alvarez is the most in demand, and potentially richest, fight since Floyd Mayweather fought Manny Pacquiao in 2015 and so BoxNation’s ability to defeat Sky in the bidding process represents a major coup for the broadcaster. The win was made possible by the confirmation that it would launch a new pay-per-view platform for the fight.'' Still not clear ref current subscribers
When Boxnation talked about PPV I was under the impression that the PPV only applies to no subscribers. This is what they said when Fury vs Wlad 2 was supposed to happen?
The ppv will be for non BN subscribers, basically all the people like myself that aren't subscribed to BN but have BT sports. This is my thought on it anyway.
Looking forward to this one big time, and its worth the BN yearly subs to watch it for free and support a dedicated boxing channel on TV
