This is actually a good move by team Canello. Cintron is still regarded as someone dangerous, someone who can beat anybody if 100%. Truth is he couldnt beat Canello even if he was 100% and secondly he wont be 100% anyways.
Cintrons got skills but not enough heart to bang with canelo. Alvarez has some heavy hands n doesnt mind trading. Too tough and too powerful canelo is for cintron
Cintron is a fragile guy. He administered a beating to Feliciano but he was the one writhing on the canvas at the end of the night. he is not stunted like Zab so often because his chin is higher up. I think this is in theory a very very easy fight for Canelo to look good in by shutting down the fragile Cintron, who has skills but, alas, not quite a world champion heart when faced with a relentless puncher.
Cintron is actually physically out-matched here as well. He isn't a strong light middleweight (how many people has he knocked out at 154 again? Oh yeah...) Molina bullied him. I had him losing close but clear to Antwone Smith, who's pretty average and a step below Canelo.
