Are charlos hype job?

You gents are just hating on the Charlo brothers pure and simple. If a writer feels that they are the best 1 and 2 prospects at 154 then he's entitled to express that. I don't believe that they are over rated and they do rank at the top of the up and comers. They both have good technique and skill. I expect them to be top notch fighters. As a matter of fact, I believe that Jermall is gonna move to 160 and in a couple of years will be ready to take charge of that division. Hate all you want but them young men are on their way to the top.

There is an ESB element that doesn't care for the Charlos because the twins do not go around making a--es of themselves like Fury, Chisora and Broner.

 

Erickson Lubin will be the king in time.


The Charlos seemed more promising earlier on in their careers.

 

Disagree with the first part, agree with the second part...which brings me to feeling that the Charlo's looked good against lesser competition but can't do the same when they've stepped up...and I suspect Lubin will be the same

I don't get all the hate for the charlo's...dude WON! he beat vanes. and vanes was the hottest prospect around a couple years ago when faced lara.

vanes has about 37 fights...against the top levels of 154. Vanes could easily be a beltholder.

Vanes has a ton more experience in the pros and amateurs than charlo.

Charlo is basically prospect. Not even a headliner... he took a HUGE step up fighting vanes.

with all of vanes advantages, Charlo beat vanes....that makes charlo a top notch fighter IMO. in a year or so, he'll be on the lara/andrade level and ready for the big time.

I don't think so, The young man has skills that can't be denied. He also has poise, a good ring IQ, excellent power, good height, reach and he is getting better each fight. In two years he will out box GGG and might knock him out. You might as well get ready cause they are coming whether you like it or not.:smoke

 

You be forgetting a lot of things, like what is boxing? duh I don't know.

 

i didn't see anything special on that guy that fought martirosyan....he got a gift.

i didn't see any exceptional boxing ability, power or speed. he's also a runner.
