Eddie Hearn and Dillian White are no different then Panama Lewis and Louis Resto, by knowingly using PED’S and jeopardizing another competitors life, by cheating to have an unfair advantage..... The sad part is a lot of people seem to have known and kept quiet about it.What if Rivas was to have been so distraught he went home and blew his brains out. There has to be some serious consequences for this behavior. We’re talking about a sport that people put there lives on the line.
In the last 2 weeks 2 fighters have died from injuries sustained.... you don’t play boxing, you play football, soccer, baseball, etc .....but boxing is a combat sport where an individual relies on his training, skills and the people who are supposed to have his safety and best interests at heart. If all of this turns out to be true about there knowing, and still moving forward with the fight then serious repercussions need to happen. Maybe I’m overreacting, or making a rush to judgement... either way something needs to be seriously addressed.

    They are very different.

    Let’s not be silly now.

Maybe not exactly but they are close, Hearn that is. This is not the first time fighters that have popped dirty are allowed to fight in the UK. It seems to be a systematic failure in the way they handle procedure there. It's mind blowing how backwards assed UKAD/BBBoC is, and the benefactor of it is the UK promoter. Coincidence?

It is remarkable that the opponent would not be alerted to a positive test result. There's no defending that policy at all.

I don't buy the Lewis/Resto comparison because that is more extreme, but I do agree that Hearn is implicated directly. If Rivas were made aware and chose to go on with it, then maybe (maybe) that's okay. But it's a disgrace to send him out against a juiced fighter unwittingly.

Let's not overreact. The impact of these supplements and other substances is, at best, debatable. What Lewis and Resto did is not.

The drugs work w/o a doubt. There are many examples of guys throwing caution to the wind and doping up for a big day. Look at Floyd Landis and Stage 17, down 9 mins on one of the harder climbs the day before because he cracked hard. Cracking or bonking that hard usually means you are out of the race, your chances of winning the Tour are over. Next morning he says **** it, slaps on a couple testosterone patches and goes out there and demolishes the peloton, gaining 5 mins on the whole field.

I know it’s an overreaction but isn’t it time someone overreacts before we end up with another Lewis/Resto situation. This stuff needs to be stopped.... fighters are husbands, and fathers, and sons. The greed and lows to which people will go for money while jeopardizing someone’s life is disgusting.
