Paul Williams went from having the biggest hype in boxing to now being underrated. I think he has a good shot to beat Carlos Quintana in the rematch. Nobody knows if he just had a bad night when he lost his title. This is not an easy fight for Quintana and I wouldn't be shocked if Paul Williams win TKO 10.

I doubt it, I'd say expectations are at a realistic level now. He was just so far overrated when people talked of him beating Mayweather or Cotto, it was actually comical

Plenty of people are picking him in the rematch, including myself

Me too, im definitely picking him to win this rematch. I do think it was just an off night, and I look for him to beat Quintana rather easily this time. I would give him a decent shot against Mayweather too (know im gonna get bashed 4 that) if he faught the way he faught against Margarito

I saw Paul a couple times when he was just a notable prospect, and then I never watched him again until the Quintana fight. It was hard to believe it was the same guy!

Well... my opinion is that Quintana should win by close UD... he knows the game plan and can start executing it from the first bell... But I expect Williams to be much more focused, motivated and prepared well for Quintana to make it closer than the first time... and who knows, the judges might give it to him, might not...

The problem is that Williams doesn't deserve a rematch at all... a rematch clause shouldn't mandate the organizations and TVs to accept the immidiate 2nd fight - the first one was one-sided and boring and it's totally sick that we have to watch this again...

I dont think he is being underrated. Many including myself are picking Quintana again, mainly because he was so good in the first fight. Williams, looked slow of hand and foot, no workrate and didnt hurt Quintana at all. Fact is Williams is not a welterweight, it is wrong of him to even be competing at 147 and it will only hurt himself in the long run.

he should move to 54and try and secure a fight with Vernon Forrest, Forrest is beggin for a real fight!

I honestly felt that Paul thought he could do to Quintana what Cotto was able to do, I mean to me it looked like Paul didnt take the fight serious I mean for god sakes he was a super middle weight the night of the fight and it showed he looked sluggish.
I think he will stop Quintana in the rematch

if he was that heavy it proves him moving up in weight isn't going to help him one bit
