I think fans hold Paul Williams hype against him. He didn't create the hype the media and his fans did. I think this would be a good fight but don't count out Paul because of the hype people gave him. He is still a good fighter and he will fight better in the rematch and I'll think Williams win TKO 10.

That's exactly why so many here hated Margarito...because Arum was doing his job promoting him. Pretty weak reasoning if you ask me...

Fans appreciation fluctuates like penny stocks. Williams was blue chip material before the Quintana failure. In the span of one bowel movement, everyone's shorting the POS.

That's how it is with the noob fans in boxing(especially some idiots here), an undefeated fighter is feared by earth and the rest of the planets, once he loses once he's a scrub who is better off retiring.

Definitely underrated now. If he wins this one he's right back with the elite at 147.

Underrated because people seem to think he's garbage now.

It's how it goes. You're overrated when you're undefeated, underrated when you lose.

It happened with Quintana and it bit the majority of us boxing fans in the ass.

How many times do i have to go through this?
PW did not look the same as he did with Margarito because Margo is a simple fighter who just went forward.
Quintana is miles ahead in the foot work department compared to Margo.
Go ahead and say its the weight issue. PW was only 3 lbs heavier on fight night with CQ than he was on the Margarito fight.
Its like i was saying all before the fight and people called me a hater. CQ is just too good of a boxer to be beaten by PW who is very inexperienced. Come on guys he is very crude. An immediate rematch is the worst he could have done. He has guts but guts can sometimes be dangerous to your career.

Roll back to HBO's 24/7, how Hatton's grunting and punching the humpty dumpty bag got every nooblet hyperbolic, it was touching. After the fight, guess what, he was a bum.

    Newbies...

Quintana should take this one by TKO or wide UD

I fell for the Hatton hype, not the Williams hype though, if the Margarito fight would have went 2 more rounds he would've been on his back.

Nevertheless I'm picking him to win a 115-113 decision of Quintana.
