Just for referance more than anything im neither against or for who he fought and what he fought. here's ( i hope ive got this spot on.) Roy jones's Fight record. ..

was their anyone else .....?? Gerald McClellan, just a name to throw in the hat..

But, it aint a bad record really is it... serious names on there... you could argue the fact that his initial fights were a bit below standard,.. to be fair..

  3. Its a combination of boxers, fans, managers and promoters fault...!!! All should get the blame per se.

Take for instance Phil Jackson, who back in 1995 was slated to fight Frank Bruno (for a HW Belt), Jackson's promoter/manager did not like the ring size (too small) and pulled him out of the fight...!!! The promoter/manager was at fault.

Managers of fighters are the most finicky people. Arguing, bitching, crying about glove size, glove type (unless fighter has endorsement contract), ring entrance, corner, travel expenses, etc.

Boxers get the blame for not showing up to fight in shape, not willing to step up to the plate (when they should), acting arrogant, telling managers to make certain fights (against better opponents).

Promoters, for being greedy, money hungry *******s...With the exception of K2, who from personal knowledge treated their opponents with the upmost respect and diginity.

Fans, for labeling fighters Frauds, bums, overhyped, quitters, etc.
