They didn't even say **** when he fought the DREADED Alphonso Gomez.:rofl Tony fought Manuel "shot to hell" Gomez on PPV..they said NOTHING. He fought old LIGHTWEIGHT Golden Johnson..they said NOTHING. Seems like CERTIAN fighters can fight flat-out BUMS and not get grilled for it.
It's incredible, Eze. You address such questions just as Floyd would in his post fight interviews. You're an intelligent guy, no doubt you've read some of Nallege's frequent rants over the last year. He does have a racial agenda. On that basis, none of his opinions can really be taken all that seriously. He didn't think Manny Pacquiao should be considered the best fighter in the world because he didn't beat any black elite fighters? Come on now. He was avoiding Nate Campbell.
Anyone racist should get the F out of watching this sport, this is why they started UFC, to take the garbage out, literally. In this sport there are countless great white, black, Mexican, Puerto Rican, brown..etc fighters. It's an open sport and racism can't be tolerated here since the majority of fighters come in different colors/languages. It's a world-wide sport, UFC was open to collect the garbage and it does a good job taking them away.
I honestly don't. I don't read the threads about that **** because I don't agree nor do I want to get involved. While I do agree Pac hasn't fought a slick fighter. (Can be of any race) It's not because the person is black. I will say Pac did pick one of the easiest LW champions of all time over Campbell for whatever reason. Probably to grab and bag a title and move up.
Even though that post is to Eze I need to add something. Me and Nallege are cool, despite the recent insults, I'm not sure he's black to be honest. I'm not black, he knows it and called me an Uncle Tom, so I don't really know how "insulting" that is to black people since I don't pay attention to racial junk like that IF that's racist, I could be wrong. Nallege has good posts though his comments on Pac are somehow ridiculous, if he said Campbell then sure let's give it a pass but he actually said Valero. I'm not here to **** on Nallege or anyone, all these guys are cool and I love discussing with them but being biased is normal. We can all be biased here and there, that's how it is, no one is perfect.
Come on Pimp, what are you doing responding to that trash? Ignore button bro. :deal The trash bin next to me would give me a far better argument than that porno addicted no hoping loser. :good
Nate Campbell >>>> David Diaz:yep It's TRUE...Pac has yet to fight a Black american fighter.:deal That style is something he has NEVER seen the like of...or remotely prepared for. You'll see if Arum let's Pac in the ring with Floyd.
There are racial threads? Thats horrible! Anyways back on topic. I am also a big fan of both Cotto and Manny also. How can I be a fan of so many fighters? Ill tell you. An open mind and an appreciation for the entertainment they provide for me. I have all there careers on disc and have watched them many times. Gotta say though I would prefer a Manny victory because I find his fights more ENTERTAINING and not for any other reason. Plus it sets up the fight I most want to see so we can all stop talking about it so much. That would be Manny and Floyd, but if Cotto beats Manny which I find to be VERY possible then I will be very excited to see Mayweather -Cotto. Mayweathers father has come out now and said his son wants the winner of that fight so the accusations of dodging Manny or Cotto can be laid to rest. Now we just have to get that stubborn BOB ARUM to cave to HBO and let it happen. THEN the winner of that fight should fight MOSLEY. In the mean time if Mosley does'nt want Clottey then how about Berto. Id say Williams, but I think Williams is out of the WW picture due to his scheduled fight for the Middleweight title against Pavlik. Thats how I'd like it to mplay out. Any objections?
I like how you have handled yourself after last night, Scar. It's the overzealous Floyd fanatics like toopretty and Rooney that make it very hard to appreciate Floyd. Pacquiao has the same problem with guys like Snell and Soriano. Congratulations on your man's victory last night. I just wanted Scar to jump up off the fence. He wasn't willing to do it. If a Marco Antonio Barrera fan on here says some silly **** like, "Barrera would have destroyed Pacquiao at 122lbs", then I'd still call him out on that crap. I think far to often some intelligent fans of a fighter won't call out the fanatics when they silly stuff. Nallege is guilty of playing the race card and it's offensive to a lot of users here, but the Floyd fans who have credibility should really be speaking out on this. They should be objecting to that as passionately as they object to Floyd detractors. I'm often accused of picking on Manny Pacquiao fans, but there aren't many fanbases that get on my tits, except for overzealous Floyd fans and Pacquiao fans. Floyd has been out of commision for awhile, so I kind of forgot all about them until the morning after the Marquez fight. If only Rooney and TooPretty could act as dignified in victory as some of the better more objective Floyd fans in here, such as yourself. It's easy to hate them.
