Martinez is slick and essentially unbeaten ?

(He beat Cintron, and who knows about Marg's wrappings in their bout).

Can he pull off an upset ?

martinez can ABSOLUTELY pull off an upset against williams. the guy is no joke. williams is a beast, though. we'll just have to wait and see. PW has what it takes to make a very good fighter like martinez look average.

I mean I haven't exactly looked at it that closely stylistically.... But martinez will have to come extremely correct to beat williams

Outside of the fight with Pavlik for the championship, and excluding unrealistic welterweight showdowns with any of the top guys, this was the best fight that could be made. It's going to be very interesting and should go almost the full length in determining if Williams' rise to around #5 on many P4P lists is warranted. If he's especially dominating, I'll be very inclined to move up to #3 given the inactivity of Hopkins and Mosley.

Martinez can pull off an upset, but he took this fight on short notice, plus the judges and referee will be for Williams, so it will be up hill battle. Commentators will also be biased.

martinez is faster then CQ, has more power, so it's possible but is PW sits on his punches like he did in the rematch he can get martinez out of there early. make no mistake about it

against bunema i was sold on martinez being about as good as it would get at 154. then he was in against Cintron who does not want to fight and even though i thought he won the fight he had some difficulty figuring out what to do. In the fight against paul he will need more than that jab he was pumping in bunemas face. i think paul will win by stoppage.

Williams is counting on the fact that Martinez did not have enough time to train, plus he owns the judges, referee, commentators.

Damn man your so ****ing stupid. Tell me how Martinez took the fight on short notice??? Secondly who are the judges??? Since you already know they are corupt.

I dont except you to answer because your a moron. I know that most of the long time posters ignore your stupid posts 99% of the the time, but your a dangerous dumbass on this site, I have seen it first hand. You say the same **** over and over and over and over again, the fight is fixed for _________ insert any black fighters name. But the sad thing is I recall at one point you had a flock of dumbass kids that believed everything you said. That is the reason that I take great joy in calling you on your bull****, the only problem is, you make 100 post a day. But I will hurt you down and call you on your bull**** every chance I get.:hi:

I predicted the Ward fight correctly.

Ward refused to fight in the tournament unless he had "all" his fights in his home town. WHY?

I feel he will win the fight but not overconfident Martinez is a pretty good boxer that gives alot of good angles himself I think its a reason why pwill has Quintana in training camp to prepare him for the fight.
