Are Four Boxers Enough to Form a Wave?

When thinking of the Russian wave prominent in the 90s and when referencing a set of boxers forming a wave, what's the minimum amount of fighters needed to call it a wave? Is four boxers enough? The Soviet wave of the 90s included Arbachakov & Tszyu & was Russia's first elite group. That wave had more than four but would four be the minimum to warrant a wave?

 

I think its low. The correct answer is 4.5

Waves build. That was the start of the current post soviet wave.

 

Depends on the boxer(s) IMO....

Example would be you may need several dozen lightweight fighters, whereas one Deontay Wilder swinging like a madman in the water would likely cause a tsunami.

 

The Mexican wave of the noughties was great.

 

So then four is acceptable if in time more boxers of the same type follow suit?

 

No. Its low. No less than 4.5 constitutes a wave.
