Are GGG and Kovalev pretty much done?

Kovalev is toast. GGG perhaps a couple more fights left in him but he is tettering on being spent also.

 

Kovalev ruined his career with alcohol and laziness, he's done. GGG might have a fight or two left in him.

But then why do you rate him so highly on the P4P list?

 

GGG can still perform if he's allowed to box at his own pace. He can't handle dudes like SD anymore. He'd beat Charlo because Charlo doesn't pressure.

 

Kovalev has no more punch resistance

 

And triple g, I think Shane Mosley said about him was that unfortunately he was simply turning plain old.

 

Golovkin-Szeremeta, supposedly set for Nov 21, isn't on boxrec and there's nothing to be heard about it either, is this fight definitely not happening this year?

 

so you understand that there are people that understand the minute differences and clues as to a fighters level of performance, much better than you do. if canelos team made such the obvious choice, then the average fan dksab. cause nobody even mentioned him as a possible opponent until the fight was announced. and even then, kov was gonna knock reds freckled head into the stands.

Kovalev is, he has no more punch resistance and has ultimately shown to lack discipline. As someone that is not a fan of Golovkin, I can say he's very disciplined and that chin is still intact. He can still outbox a lot of opponents, but those fast twitch fighters are gonna eventually start having their way with him. Golovkin probably still has a few more good wins in him though

Kovalev might not be done. He might just come back with nothing to lose now and start slinging bombs. If he does that, he can beat anyone in his division on a given night.
GGG is very skilled, so he can probably go on doing what he's doing for some time. He was never overly fast.
