Wilder has Hereditary glass mandible?

    Seeing Marsellos Wilder getting brutally ktfo got me thinking today.....

    Everyone knows Deonkey Wilder has glass jaw. That's not up for a debate that's just a fact. Like sun will rise tomorrow.

    But now it transpires that Marcello's has one too!! There is no coincidence here, i mean how do you explain gettin ktfo by guy with 11% KO ratio? You can't unless you are like full yard.

    So does that mean glass mandible runs in Wilders family? And can be inherited?

    LOL. Deontay Wilder can't box and has a terrible technique and awful footwork and his reign as a world champion is more a joke than anything BUT he definitely has no glass jaw. He took flush shots by one of the biggest punching guys out there (Ortiz) and didn't go down. It was impressive how he survived there although the ref could have stopped the fight at some point AND he got some extra time to recover. Fact is: He didn't go down. And Fury also landed some heavy blows and Fury might have not the punch power like AJ but if a guy of his size and with his weight is punching you in the face it's no featherfist. Wilders chin is solid and probably better than AJs. Joshua was hurt by Dillian Whyte and Alexandr Povetkin and knocked down by Wlad + KTFO in the amateurs by Nistor. So if we talk about Wilders jaw then we should do the same with AJs.

    Hmm good point. But. There is a massive flaw here. Wlads chin is actually good. Never bought into this wlads chin is **** bs.


    The Uppercut that a 42year old wlad took from Joshua didn't knock him down.
    Same punch made Whyte's required a oxygen mask....

    So good try but not there.

    Since the day he survived Ortiz's onslaught in round 7, I wouldn't classify Wilder's jaw as glass. Considering he's a natural cruiserweight, I'd say his chin is fine.

    Ortiz stopped Jennings inside 6, Wlad couldn't.
    Ortiz stopped Cojanu inside 2, Parker couldn't.
    Ortiz stopped Allen inside 7, Whyte couldn't.
    Ortiz stopped Thompson inside 6 as Wlad did in the second fight, he couldn't in the first one.
