Hatton by a countrymile. 2 weight world champion, but focusing on his 140 reign, he was arguably the greatest ever. Demolished all competition, near perfect record, with 1 debatable points loss to Collazo, apart from that he nearly won every single round he fought in. The man was an machine at his prime, and was widely recognised as P4P material, future HOF, and won many accolades. He screwed up fighting both Floyd and Manny, but he gave Money a tough 6 rounds. He lacks discipline, but makes up in heart, awesome power and a never say die attitude. 100% Entertainment. Hatton gets my vote.
No way, Hatton could have had an arguement if he beat either Manny or Floyd. Same for Cotto, if he beat Manny and them beat Margarito in a rematch questions would have been answered. However at this point at time, they're hall of famers at best.
name the hattons wins that are questionable? the only fight i can think that was close was collazo (excluding pac and pbf). he's not atg material but he obviosuly doesn't suck as a boxer if he has two wins over p4p fighters, was the lineal champ at 140 for 3 years and has beaten numerous belt holders at two weight divisions, it sounds like you're the dumbass. cotto has only ever fought for vacant titles, and has much more questionable wins.
They´re outsanding fighters of the decade. But they shouldn't be considered ATG. Maybe a very very high number, but not top 50 or anything like that.
hattons fanbase is/was the greatest in boxing soo alot off people will see him as atg material but a wins over a over the hill tzsyu and castillo and losses to mayweather and paquiao no matter how great they are doesnt make him an ATG, cotto if he wins another belt at light middle is definitley a hall of famer
