Are Haye hypers afraid of Haye actually having to prove himself?

I disagree. What about Michael Spinks, Haye is not a nobody. He is an undisputed champion moving up a division to challenge its current champion. Outside heavyweight this is more common, and Arreola is certainly not more worthy based on his performances and opposition.

So why is it okay for Vitaly (arguably the true champion out of retirement) to fight Haye within short notice, and it is not okay for Wlad not to fight him because he has not proven himself yet. The money argument is old, especially if you really want to be and beat the best.

Btw. During the end of the Lewis era, the only contender Wlad beat was McCline. Byrd was not considered anything special around the time Wlad beat him. Botha and Mercer are just names on his record, not top 10, Mercer was 40.

If so, easy defense to Wlad. Haye has to actually prove himself if he can, and if he does and beats a fringe title holder revenge match (which is even more money). No real champion was ever bad off when he takes on the fighters the public and the "connoisseurs" want to see.

I think Haye has a better chance than Arreola to upset Wlad. His chances are also better against Wlad imo than against Vitaly. Wlad is still favorite to win by KO in my book. But I can also see Wlad freeze when he is caught hard and somewhat off guard by a hayemaker.

Why wait? The time is now.

You know what? Hsye WOULD probably beat Adamek, but it wont change the fact that Adamek defeated Oneil Bell and Steve Cunningham at cruiser and Haye only defeated Mormeck and Maccarinelli. :deal

I take it your talking about Couser, who you seem to convieniently forget Barrett whooped in a rematch, your posts are getting farcical, its pretty obvious you know exactly what will happen to Wlad should he dare get in the ring with Haye, which from the sounds of it according to sky sports, he's not likely to this year choosing to fight fat boy  and then Povetkin.

The Klitshcko's are looking like a laughing stock right now tbh.

If I could sum up this thread:

Proffesor Widdow and his 30 ******ed students. Man is trying to teach them something but its very hard to teach ******ed students, somehow he keeps trying and doesnt give up, I admire him greatly.

how so admaek isn't even big for a cruiserweight and would find it very hard to get upto heavyweight he isn't really any bigger than lhw so any fights would come at 40-70 pound weight disadvantage,

I am a huge Wladimir Klitschko fan ... but I think that Haye has what it takes to beat him.

I don't know about the match up overall, I haven't put much thought into it, but Haye is fast, strong, agile/nimble, and a good boxer.

Both guys have their jab hands low ... both have good jabs ... I can't take Hayes right hand over Klitschko ... but I can say that Haye has the edge on movement and can match Klitschko in speed.

I don't think that Haye is like Imbragimov, Thompson, Byrd, or Brewster ... he's a bit faster than them and i'd give him the edge in punching power over all of them.

I do know that this wouldn't be a replay of Holyfield v Douglass ...

Out of all the HW's out there, I think that Povetkin and Haye have the best chance of beat Wlad. Will they, is another story.

Haye is probably thinking about using his movement and agility to his advantage ... and I think Haye is going to try and wear Klitschko down and hit him with a right hand over the top.

I don't know how Haye is going to deal with the left jab of Wladimir ...

And most casual boxing fans have probably heard of Mike Tyson, and still probably think he can win the title back "if he trains hard and is serious".

Does that mean he should get a title shot?

I would imagine Americans living in America would be more likely to have heard of an American fighter too.

Most casual Australian boxing fans have heard of John Hopoate, doesn't mean that he's worth a title shot though.
