Are Haye hypers afraid of Haye actually having to prove himself?

I wouldn't chase "1 fight in 4 years Vitlay" either, I couldn't afford the postponements.

Wlad however, is considered the best fighter in the division.

Are you saying that somebody is ducking NOT the best fighter, to try and fight THE BEST fighter?

Or do you believe Vitlay is better than Wlad?

I think it's ridiculous how the brothers pick the best opponent for them, to protect the others. They're either separate fighters or they aren't.

Can you imagine Lewis saying in the 90's "oh, yes you're good, I think Holyfields a better match up to beat you"
Or Holy "you're a good boxer with an average chin, Lewis is a tougher matchup for you, fight him instead of me"

    **** off.

Anyone that wants to be the best, challenges the best. Not the brother of the best.

Again, unless you think Vitlay is better than Wlad.

To suggest that either Klitschko is afraid or avoiding Haye is delusional or just plain ignorance no matter who you like or dislike. People need to stop being so blinded by their prejudice on both sides.

IMHO, ANYTHING at cruiser means NOTHING at HW. It means NOTHING. Beat some real HW's and DESERVE a shot. Everyone else does it, why can't Haye? Cruiserweight is a joke and is many notches down from HW, even in todays HW landscape.

I do not think VK or WK will walk all over Haye. I think it will be a tough fight while it lasts. I think Vitali takes Haye's shots, then haye does not know what to do so he gasses by round 6, then Vitali sends him to the canvas for the win.

Against WK, Haye will come out guns blazing until he feels that sledgehammer jab on his face a few times. Then, I think he gets tentative and WK hammers him with the jab all night. In that case, I think Haye gets beaten up throughout the fight and then catches a right hand that he doesnt see and falls, or it goes to a lopsided decision for WK. Haye has a chance to throw a wild haymaker shot and end the fight against WK, thats for sure, but the same can be said by just about any HW matchup. thats the nature of the big boys.

As for WK fighting Arreola, well I am not a huge fan of it but I dont see anything wrong with it. I think WK destroys Arreola, but IMHO Arreola deserves a shot more than Haye. He has been winning HW fights and steadily ramping up his competition. Its not stellar by any means, but Haye has fought 1 living HW. Thats not rnough since CW accomplishments mean dick at HW.

I too want to see the fight and think that WK vs Haye would be better than Arreola, but thats fine. It will happen at some point. Haye needs to prove himself in the HW ranks before people hand him title shots IMHO.

Oh and since Fighting Weight likes to refer to WK as WALDO, then I guess the people that dont believe in Haye should call him GAYE then since he makes himself look so pretty before entering the ring. Would that be fair?

I think Haye can beat Wlad... but I just don't think it will happen.

Wlad has more experience, the better trainer, is a proven HW and is much bigger.

I think the fight could be interesting in the beginning, I am especially interested to see how Haye handles that first straight right hand that lands

Cruiserweight is many notches down from heavy?

Explains why Chris Byrd found it so hard at heavyweight then, doesn't it?

Or the gigantic Eddie Chambers struggle so much, despite being fat at about 215.

Wlad would beat Haye. As would Vitlay. But at least he's a live, interesting underdog who has a chance and would try.

The only way Austin, Brock, Thomson were going to beat Wlad was if he fell over and KO'd himself, or covered his legs in vaseline and borrowed a drink from the green man again.

It would make so much more sense for this fight to take a year or so to develop into some sort of heavyweight superfight. Haye vs Wlad or Vitaly is the biggest fight to make in the division and if built properly it could be one of the bigger fights in the sport. This fight should take place in a stadium in Europe sometime next year. Haye needs to knock off a few names and/or contenders between now and then. A David Haye with wins over a Maskaev, Toney, Peter and the likes is a much bigger attraction then one with a win over Monte Barrett only. They fight now its a big fight but if it gets done right it becomes a superfight.

You seriously don't know much about boxing if you think the weak David Hype could avoid being knocked silly by Sultan Ibragimov or Alexandre Povetkin!

Haye is too scared to fight Herbie Hide!

Haye does not want to fight any top ten heavyweight, he wants a huge payday without earning it, but Klitschko have to fight their mandatories before Haye fight is possible.

    Haye has a glass chin.

Haye didn't ****ing prove himself at CW. He ditched the division pretty much right after taking the titles.

He hardly proved **** at CW, hasn't proved **** at HW. He's all potential.

****in Haye-huggers are making the Calzaghe-ites look sane.

I realize that Haye isn't interested in working his way to the top... that doesn't mean that he deserves a shot, just because he isn't willing to put in work for it. I am not doubting David Haye's talent, because I know that he is a talented boxer... I also think that he is a natural heavyweight, and fills out just fine. I am saying that pretend like Wlad is already ducking the guy who just moved up in weight is ridiculous... don't you agree?

Haye promised the fans that he would beat a DANGEROUS top 10 heavyweight in his debut... and he didn't deliver. People are basically giving him a pass on everything just because he beat a couple of good cruiserweights. As I said, I know that he is fast... I know that he has power... I am sure that he is a dangerous fight for anyone. What I am saying is, people are showing nothing but hate and ignorance when they claim that Wlad is avoiding a fighter who outside of running his mouth, hasn't even done anything to even be on Wlad's radar.

I remember pretty clearly when Holyfield moved up, that he was thought of as very much of a threat. However, obviously anyone moving into the heavyweight division should need to prove their worth first. Had John Ruiz beat Roy Jones Jr... I would bet my house that Ruiz wouldn't get much credit for it. Even though it was obvious that Ruiz had nothing for Roy Jones before they even fought. Still, most people just acted like Ruiz would win because he is too big. Ruiz has two left feet, and I knew that he would be tripping over his own shoes trying to box with Roy. That's my point... Haye wants this fight, of course... it's a win/win for him. He wins, he gets a big payday and becomes the Heavyweight Champion of the world. He loses... and he gets a big payday and he only lost to the Heavyweight Champion of the world.... either way... he doesn't have what Wlad has on the line. On the other hand, Wlad really gains little by beating Haye at this point, because we all know that he won't get credit. You say that he won't get credit for knocking Haye out early... only if he outboxes him first and knocks him out late. Have you been reading what his haters say lately? For the love of god, they have no concept of someone being outboxed, broken down, and stopped. That is what they call "boring". So, once again... lose/lose for Wlad. He knocks Haye out early... well, that blown up cruiser didn't belong in the ring with Wlad at Heavyweight. He outboxes Haye and knocks him out late... well, there goes boring Wlad again. Afraid to get hit in that glass jaw so he jabs his way to victory.

See my point now? In order for Wlad to get ANY credit whatsoever.. and for the fight to reach it's maximum potential... Haye needs to prove his worth at Heavyweight. For the love of god, hardly any of the casual boxing fans that I know have even heard of David Haye. I am being completely honest. Unless you are the type of fan who goes online to read up on news, or discuss boxing on forums... he isn't known in America.

Haye has already proven himself as a fighter but not established himself as a heavyweight. I'd prefer him to mop the floor with Arreola before he faces Klitschko but I also want to see him fight for a belt.

Haye vs Arreola would be a VERY fun fight. I don't know if Haye wins that one though. I would personally like to see Haye go for the WBA title. Make the fight even bigger.
