Are Haye hypers afraid of Haye actually having to prove himself?

I would pick Arreola to knock Haye out cold. Vitali or Vlad will take care of Haye.

Why is it that fighters from other divisions can move up to fight for titles without interim fights yet Haye has to "prove himself" before getting a crack at Wladimir. Though his heavyweight fights are spaced out and the opposition isn't anything special, Haye is 3-0 so it's not like he hasn't tested the waters above 200 lbs. I'm not a Wlad hater so don't venture down that path but I'm curious as to why you are so against the two of them fighting immediately. Personally, with Haye's chin, I wonder why someone like yourself isn't calling for the fight immediately. With Wladimir's size advantage, skills, and defense Haye would be up against it in trying to land something big. Not to mention the hurtful jab that Wladimir can land to keep Haye at bay (the rhyme was unavoidable, the other choice was away).

Just like Arreola wouldnt be known anywhere but America, and even most of the Americans know what a waste of space fat boy is

Look at how interested in the heavyweight scene everyone has become since David Haye arrived, before that most people couldnt give 2 shits about any of them, bored of watching complete useless turds embarass themselfs against Wlad, its embarassing to watch, last few fights for example, Sultan, Thompson and Rahman, i swear i could of put up more of a fight than them 3, they were awful fights to watch.

To get the interest back in the Heavyweight scene we need a guy who is going to bring it to the Klitshcko's, and once he knock's Wlad out we will have a Champion who everyone will like, apart from the wounded wierd Klitschko obsessed fans(who will no doubt claim he was drugged)and who will once again hope his big brother can once again get revenge for poor little Wlad.

When the Pacman moved up to fight Diaz for the title did he have prove himself first?
when PBF moved up from Superfeather to lightweight did he have to prove himself?

David Haye don't have to prove jack, he already did that unifying the crusierweight division.

Love Muffin - good logic but I'm not sure how well it holds up with the Cruiserweight to Heavyweight switch. Personally, I think being the man at Cruiserweight should get you a ranking at the very least. As a Haye fan, I'd love to see him fight a few more times at Heavyweight before either Klitschiko. Not because he doesn't deserve a shot but just to get a few more ring smarts.

Let's get some common sense into this debate. Haye is not scared of either Klitschiko (sp?) - he has been calling both of them out aggressively for a long time. Against either he would be an underdog but he wants the fights. Vitali is definitely not afraid of Haye, there is a case for Wlad being wary of Haye.

The reason Haye is going to get this fight without having to prove himself is two-fold.

    1. As mentioned above - he was the man at Cruiserweight. Someone like O'Neil Bell or Enzo Mac would not get the shot if they moved up tomorrow because they've not done dominated the division. It's worth remembering that Mormeck was #1 and Enzo was considered (wrongly in my opinion) #2.

    2. Haye is supremely marketable. He is a good looking lad with mouth and serious bang. In a heavyweight division that is being destroyed by Jab-Jab-Cross he is what is needed to shake it up. If he loses, **** it, he wasn't good enough (or more likely not big enough). If he wins against either Klit then the show is on. Then he can prove himself by fighting all the contenders to his crown. If he wins he clearly deserved the shot and will then be required to prove himself, if he loses at least there was an exciting attempt to shake up this dour division.

Less personal hating - focus on the boxing for ****'s sake.

Good post. I find it interesting how Window Maker thinks Arreola is more deserving than Haye.

For the record, I dont mind if Haye does take another tuneup. But I do feel he is proven enough to walk striaght into a fight with Wlad, and dont see a suitable opponent who can prepare him for Wlad either.

Haye is the guy who agreed to fight Vitali dumbass. That fight seems to be falling through because VITALI IS FIGHTING HIS MANDO INSTEAD.

Which is why Haye is targeting Wlad. You are a dumbass joke of a poster.

Widdow, I truly am in awe of both Klits and I also like David Haye, but this argument of Haye having to prove something to be frank sounds like somebody really thinking: "ha, ha, hopefully he'll get ko'd before he makes it to Klit".

It would be different if Haye hadn't been the Undisputed multiple Title holder, including the Ring, in the next lower division.

Why did Hopkins get a shot at Tarver?
Jmm get a shot at Casamayor?
Calzaghe get a shot at Hopkins?
    RJJ at Ruiz?
This list could go for hours.

I don't see why Wlad wouldn't want to be the guy to get the glory, with all the momentum Haye has going.

    Do your homework, loudmouth.
Brock, Thompson were the only KO's.
    By Wlad, I may add.
