I'd rather see either Klitschko fight Valuev to unify.

That being said I don't mind Wlad vs. Haye, Wlad vs. Arreola, Wlad vs. Povetkin, etc. It's all good and any of those fights have serious potential.

What benefit to haye does having another fight have in terms of resume, if he went straight in and beat one fo the two brothers it would make him look better. This obviously isn't the case for wlad or vitali they need haye to have more fights so win or lose it will not look as bad for them. The only problem is bar povetkin and valuev there are no worthwhile fights at heavyweight so fighting nobodies like arreola doesn't do anyone any favours.

How did you figureout they all get KO'd?:patsch How about him actually fighting one of them and see what happens instead of just talking about it.

I just like the fact that Haye is something the HW division is in need of. We have guys like Wald and Vit who are gentlemen....who are really PC and all,,great posterboys for the sport....but we needed a guy like Haye who is young, energetic, athletic , marketable and outspoken like a James toney. How he will fare at HW is still a big Question mark but you gotta love his confidence, even if he is shut down. He truly believes in his "Power" and abiliity. Whether he actually has what it takes is anther question but I'm excitied that Haye is stiring the pot. I hope he does well and makes the HW division a bit more fun to watch.

Anyone can make a vid like that and spin it any way you want. Klit has a few of those out himself. I'd have to say I wouldn't bet on Haye beating Vit or Wald but I think he has a punchers chance agaisnt Wald at least.....and he is very fast as a HW. We'll see how he does....I hope the best for him but honeslty I'm not so confident in his abilities at HW at this point..

I agree with what you are saying. I have said the same thing. I have nothing against Haye in general, because he is doing what he has to do to get himself out there. What I am saying is, that people are being absurd acting like Wlad is avoiding this guy, who hasn't done much outside of a few entertaining interviews in the heavyweight division. People are trying to make this fight happen right away, beacuse they don't understand the business side of this sport. This fight becomes MUCH bigger if Haye has a highly televised win over a top Heavyweight opponent first. Right now, honestly... I can speak for the casual fans that I know in the states... nobody knows who he is. Us hardcore fans on the internet know him very well... but that is because of youtube, and his interviews on boxing websites. Most boxing fans, which are actually just casual fans... don't log onto boxing websites every day. This fight gets upgraded to pretty big, and interesting.... to HUGE if Haye dominates some top heavyweights first.

I agree that he is an entertaining personality, and I agree that he is bringing excitement to the division. However, all of that is lost if he jumps into the ring and loses right away... and all of that is also lost if he just keep sitting around looking for the big payday rather than building more hype by actually fighting some top fighters.

it makes no difference to haye only to wlad thats the point, haye is very confident he can beat lwad so if he goes in and beats him he is the top man in the division and the americans have to lsiten to that,

    Wrong

He beat old Mormeck and Mccarinelli. I'm not going to **** on these two guys as I think that they were legit, however one can notice that Mormeck was really over the hill and Maccarinelli was unproven. He beat everyone?

The most dangerous challenge was Steve Cunningham the IBF champ (Haye didnt have this belt worth noticing)

Never fought the big puncher in Gillermo Jones

    Tomasz Adamek?

    BJ Flores?

    Huck?

Truth is these guys are better than anyone Haye has beaten.

I agree with you and the funny thing is I think Wald sees this situation with Haye the same way! I think Wald is supremely confident in beating Haye but I think he likes the fact that Haye is making noise when he's really done **** in the HW division. I'm not saying beating Monte wasn't a good win....it was. Monte is a good Vet but Wald is on anther level completely. I think Haye has the swagger he needs to really be a force, however.....I'm not sure about his chin or his overall skills. He's technically sound but he has holes in his Defense and his offense isn't as versitile as would be needed against big guys like Wald or Vit.

I think Wald is looking at this potential fight as a money maker. Wald is a business man as well. I think he is going to fight Chris...which he should win and hope that Haye secures anther good HW fight then meet up for a big event. That does make sense. No one should believe Wald is ducking Haye at this point. Plus i don't think Wald really ducks anyone....I think he has his reservations regarding some of his past opponents but even in losses he's come back to avenge his loss aside from the sanders fight.

You're spot on with if Haye comes in guns blazing against the top men and looses...his stock will take a HUGE hit and it could be hard to come back from or it will take time to rebuild his rep.....And I don't think the Kilts will be boxing for much longer....they've both done all they have said they would so it's only a matter of time befoe they hang'em up.

The truth is this guy isnt good enough to blast through top contenders. He wants one shot because if he wins, he gets all the glory, with 1 win he takes over the entire heavyweight division.

I'd also like to see how Wladimir handles the first flush uppercut or counter right hand that Haye lands. Wlad hasn't been hit by a meaningful punch in about 8 fights or so.

David Haye has the tools to land on him and he will not be looking to stand there and eat punches like all of Wlad's other opponents. We've gotten too used to Wladimir's punching bag exhibitions.

Corrie Sanders showed what can happen if you have good handspeed, show Wlad a bit of lateral movement, and look to land your shots against him.

You are basing this by the fact that Haye fought like this against Maccarinelli and Mormeck or any other of his fights for that matter.

You think that he will do the same against Wlad. Well, if you look at for example Ibragimov he was a fearsome puncher who threw shitload of punches against other opponents but not against Wlad.

If you look at Austin vs Golota (Forgive me Golota fans :good) he was like a MikeTyson there, throwing uppercuts, right hands, hooks, all power shots. How did he fight against Wlad? :!:

Wrong!! BJ Flores actually admitted that Haye was a beast and he was glad he was moving up to heavyweight.
Cunningham got his ass whipped by Adamek who in turn had has his whipped by Chad Dawson in 2007 fighting at light heavy.
There was actually a proposed bout between Cunningham and Hopkins until he got beat...
Haye was a real cruiserweight who would have beat the hype out of cunningham and he would have done Adamek too,no ****:happy
