slowvalev went 12 w a 49 year old Hopkins. I think a 39 year old Stevenson will ko the tomato can krusher.

They'd still be making a bit of money and if kovalev wins an even bigger star

I'd rather see Ward vs Stevenson because Andre would beat that ugly azz! Ward is only vulnerable to right hands. Nobody has ever touched him with a left

They didn't get where there are today by making poor decisions.

It won't be great for them if kovalev gets sparked that's what's worrying them

And understandably so; there's always risk, why put all your eggs in one basket?

It's not as simple as you guys make it sound.

It's a fight that has to be made and it looks to me as though hbo are holding it up

It's not that big of a fight anymore IMO, good enough but as alex says, nowhere near big enough for co-production.

Smart people should realize this is a clear DUCK on the part of Team TOMATO KAN Krusher. Stevenson is a PPV DRAW in Canada and he's willing to split the pot 50/50. This represents the BIGGEST potential payday Kovalev will ever see in his career. And before you Kovalev nutsack swinging idiots start screaming Andre Ward, Ward isn't a PPV draw and Ward Kovalev isn't as big of a PPV fight as is Stevenson Kovalev.

I don't understand that it should sell well enough with a bit of marketing both sides should make money from this fight

I am unsure but I do know that Stevenson has headlined several PPV cards in Canada...

At the end of the day, Stevenson jumped ship and went to Showtime to avoid this fight. Even Hopkins who was fighting with Showtime said **** it, and decided to fight Kovalev and Hopkins is 83 years old.
