Are heavyweights more boring than ever?

    I don´t think that todays GUYS suck. I just think that they have very safe, boring styles. Effective yes, exchiting no. They make boring fights. They do just enough to win fights. They take no risks.

    And yes, I have seen something like 6-7 Chagaevs fights. All of them have been really boring. I kind of like the kid and I think that basickly he could be in a interesting bout, but he just takes no risk. All of his fights have been boring.

    Hi guys... Just think about it... You guys think that Chagaev vs. Ruiz was a good fight. That just tells all about how boring todays heavyweight bouts are! That just tells it all! In the 1990´s Chagaev vs. Ruiz would had been considired as the most boring fight of the year. But now, becouse just about all of the heavyweight titlebouts are SO DUCKING BORING, becouse of it some people actually think that Chagaev vs. Ruiz was an enterteining fight... :yikes Oh, please. Boxing has went real low if this was a good fight.

    I think the Heavyweight division is actually VERY INTERESTING. It is better than it was during the 2001-2005 period.

    You just aren't gonna find anyone who is Eastern European bashing the heavyweight division. Nationalism still triumphs.

    :lol: People claimed it was boring because there was no dominant champ ! Now they are claiming its boring because the champ is to dominant ! What a bunch of tools !:deal

    It was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more boring a few years back when you had a small posse of King fighters that would just fight each other all the time in inevitably forgettable bouts. Ruiz-Byrd, Byrd-Holyfield, Holyfield-Rahman, Rahman-Ruiz, Ruiz-Oquendo, Oquendo-Byrd, and so on. :dead :dead :dead

    yes, but he still watches tha fight in his avatar and the legend of peter was born, if he get's by by oleg he will be roadblocked by Vitaly!

    Vitaly will NEVER fight Peter, and you can take that to the bank....
    He is back to make some easy $....

    He is looking for the most easy opponent, -and that aint Peter.

    Heavyweights are boring. that is not american it is the truth. They all dont suck, but they are not entertaining and bring 0 excitement in the ring. Dry dull fighters. You can be a good fighter and be dry and dull. No shame in that.
