Are interim world title fights official world title bouts (specif. Masternak-Kalenga)?

    Was the Matuesz Masternak-Youri Kalenga bout an official cruiserweight world title fight? It's listed on BoxRec as having been held for the interim WBA world cruiserweight title in June of 2014. However, since the following list was last updated a year before Masternak-Kalenga (http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/WBA_Cruiserweight_Title_Fights), there's no real way of checking the credibility of the aforementioned bout; yes, its status was interim, but does that still make that an official WBA world title bout? Anyone know?
