I love the PPV defenders - don't like, don't buy, it's only the cost of X pints...

...the main fight is epic but as a product is it worth £15. The product is a fight card not a fight.

I will be buying the card as my mate is coming over and the main event is one I've wanted to see for a while but that doesn't discount the fact that the product isn't worth it.

How are they trying to con you? Did St Eddie hold you at gunpoint?

We'd all like a better undercard but that isn't going to happen. Why would Eddie waste money while everyone watches the CL final?

Well when will you realize that THIS IS the problem? :huh :-(

If you don't want this sort of thing to happen in the future, then take the stand now idiot.

Common sense....and you started the bloody thread! :scaredas:

Bunch of hypocrites who are buying this card. I just dont get it. Are you that dumb to not even ask yourself the question?

"Oh its a **** card, I know its a **** card, its not worth the £15, I know that, but my mates coming round, so I will pay."

Don't you feel dirty saying that?

Good god society is ****ed. My word. You sort of people fail to realize that YOU ARE the problem and you sort are the reason why this was PPV in the first place! Because you will hate, moan, spit your dummies out, throw a tantrum. BUT STILL PAY.

And thats all that matters to them doing the PPV! They aint bothered what you think or say, unless you still pay £15 for the PPV.

For crying out loud, wake up! :tired

  6. im still surprised hearn decided to have a ppv event on the same time as the biggest club game of the year.

it will definitely hurt his sales with the casuals

all you people saying its only £15 or if you don't like it don't buy it, what about those of us who have spent 100's on tickets, hotel and travel. I think the lad has a massive point and it pisses me right off that sky/hearn are more bothered about the pisshead/casual/football fans switching over from the final than proper boxing fans who are going or watching the ppv in full.

If you are not prepared to buy it you shouldn't watch it at all in my opinion. Bit of a phony protest.

Why would you pay £15 when its quality if you can also watch it for free?

    Craney is right.

People are under the mistaken belief that PPV is here to stay and there's nothing we can do about it. Truth is PPV would be a thing of the past if consumers decided they didn't want it.

Problem is people feel they are being held over a barrel. We don't like paying for boxing several times over, but can't miss out on the next big fight. It would seem like cutting your nose off to spite your face.

had no other choice would have sold out otherwise i purchased tickets knowing it was going to be PPV knowing how hyped it would be so also expected (perhaps now foolishly) a decent undercard, not for the undercard to be ignored because Hearn would rather pander to fooball fans than boxing fans

    So far I've spent

    Tickets - £120 x 2
    Hotel - £108
    Train - £85 Return x 2
    Thames Clipper - £19 x 2

When I get there, underground, food, booze on top....

I am not disapointed in the slightest.

I agree the undercard is weak.

If people bought tickets on the strength of one fight then this will be a learning curve for them because people were skeptical about the quality of the support bouts when it was announced that it would be same day as champions league final.

I'm still not convinced that the champions league will increase the buy-rate substantially but there is no con here in regards to ppv.

It needed one more 50-50 fight, didn't even have to be above British level.
