Are new/half-weight classes more useful, ranking modern fighters all-time?

    Controversial, I know...
People on this site love to make lists. Me too. But when I make lists, I make them by weight, rather than weight class. I think this is more fair and realistic.
For example, is it fair to rank a massive modern welter-, such as Kell Brook or Errol Spence, alongside older (traditional size) welters?
So, is it more fair to make lists for "147", rather than "welter-"?
I think so. What do you think?

    Examples:
My top three at 168lb (instead of saying "Super Middle"):
    1. SR Robinson
    2. Burley
    3. Hearns

Or, my top three at 195/200lb (instead of saying "Cruiser") :
    1. Louis
    2. Holyfield
    3. Usyk
