Are people becoming a little hypocritical when it comes to Usyk?

Do I think Joshua should get another crack at Usyk or god forbid Undiusputed (I can't even imagine the hubris if he was to win :( )?

    HELL NO!

I don't think it's fair, but life's not fair - personally I'd rather Usyk retired NOW (feck Fury), having accomplished everything he set out to - everything legacy wise now is so relatively inconsquential to what has already come before IMO.

But it seems like Usyk feels like he can fight on, and honor the Fury rematch at least - and if he is not 100% focussed on that he could conceivably lose, and I'm not sure where that would leave things for him.

What I will say, is on the flipside of what I've said above, if Dubois was to beat Joshua, then I can't see ANY reason for a 3rd fight with Usyk, and I can't imagine Uysk would entertain it either - but if he did, then I'd give him as much stick for it as the next guy - the logical fight for him at that point would be a return with Dubois.

I think what I always think which is that he should match the number one or number two fighter in the division. Whoever it is.

You have to understand that Christ died for us 2k years ago and Usyk is the second coming of him.

Does the usyk fans not make it clear?

Why would I? It doesn't really matter to me if AJ or Dubios wins. Ideally Parker or Zhang would get the next attempt (after the Fury rematch assuming he wins of course) as both have had a decent run recently and haven't already faced Usyk.

I'd favour Usyk to beat both, but they'd at least be something new and interesting.

No, I've been saying for years that AJ categorically doesn't deserve a third shot at trying to beat Usyk after soundly, corrupt judge's cards aside, losing to him twice. Neither fight was close and the only controversy in those fights was the judge who came awfully close to robbing Usyk in their first fight, and the judge who did rob him in the rematch.

There isn't an alternate reality, dimension or universe where AJ would ever have to face Usyk a third time after beating him twice. Hell, had he just eked past Usyk once he wouldn't have given Usyk a rematch. ReMatchroom believe that AJ gets to roll the dice as many times as it takes to achieve the desired result but his beaten opponents only ever get one roll. GTFOH!

Belly doesn't deserve a rematch either after the way he treated Usyk, screwed him around and ducked him, and tried to age him out. Now Usyk is finally in the driver's seat and he can't be lowballed and disrespected like that.

He's much better and much more accomplished amateur and pro than both AJ and Belly but he's been criminally underpaid up until recent years for someone of his talent and accomplishments.

Usyk is going to get robbed for sure against AJ and Belly if the later two can just make it a little closer against him and we all know it

But that being said, he doesn't need to fight anyone or to prove anything. He will be 38 y/o in January and was already past his prime years ago and he's won everything there is to win, amateur and pro, and has clocked the game.

Me too but as much as I love watching him fight and enjoy having him around, as said, he's been past his prime for years and he's going to lose to someone who wouldn't have been able to lace his boots in his prime or get robbed.

If both of them look impressive in their next fights, then yes it can be a fun fight.
Sure, the first two fights were clearly in favor of Usyk, but they were also very entertaining.

Thank you for your response - and for posing an interesting question. While I take the point there is an argument that AJ has not worked his way back into contention for another shot at Usyk, there IS a school of thought which views him still as the no2 or no3 in the world, based on the totality of his resume. While I think an argument can be made for each of these arguments (and I don't feel strongly either way), I think it's fair to say that the Dubois fight, at least, would put him firmly back in the mix, should he win.
I should add that I don't think an AJ \ Usyk fight should happen, simply because we already twice have the answer about who wins.

Why get further brain damage and get little money for fighting unknown opponents instead of getting hundreds of millions of dollars for fighting Fury and AJ twice and thrice?

Fury didn't beat any Top 10 guy for over 2 years now. Meanwhile, when AJ gets past Dubois he would have beaten 2 Top 10s, Parker beat 2 Top 5s, Dubois beat 1 Top 10, Zhang beat 1 and had close fights with 2, Kabayel beat 2 Top 10s and Bakole beat 1. Fury doesn't have anything to show for to be consensus number 2. He was horrible against Ngannou and almost got stopped by Usyk.

Saying all of that, as a Joshua fan, I don't want to see this fight. Usyk beat him twice clearly, let Parker or Kabayel fight for the title first. They are the most worthy at this stage. Or Dubois if he beats AJ for that matter.
