Are people becoming a little hypocritical when it comes to Usyk?

Giving Fury a rematch is understandable. Fighting AJ a third time isn't. There are plenty of known opponents he can fight instead.

If, for example, he decided to also fight Ngannou would Usyk face any criticism here?

IF AJ beats Dubios. You're counting your chickens a little early, no?

In their last 6 fights respectively Fury has:

    Usyk - loss
    Ngannou - win
    Chisora - win
    Whyte - win
    Wilder - win
    Wilder - win

    AJ:

    Ngannou - win
    Wallin - win
    Helenius - win
    Franklin - win
    Usyk - loss
    Usyk - loss

If AJ beats Dubois it will be the 2nd top 10 ranked opponent he's beaten in his last 7 fights: #10 ranked Wallin, and #6 ranked Dubois

So he still won't have beaten anyone in the top 5 in his last 8 fights as Pulev was ranked #10

J-Park has beaten 2 top 5 ranked opponents in his last 2 fights

AJ should really be fighting Belly, J-Park, or Big Bang if he gets past Dubois not Usyk

Usyk & Fury will go hell for leather against one another again (making AJ Dubious look like two bodybuilders sparring) and retire afterwards to leave the wannabe boxers to fight over scrap belts.

Nobody can pick up them belts and align on the level of Vitali, Lennox, Wlad, Fury & Usyk. I don't see anything coming for the next era. We may have to wait 10 years for someone to come through and it likely will be another boring Wlad type. Basic useless lumps.

Honestly Enjoy Fury Usyk 2 because you're not going to see two heavyweights fight like that again for a very long time. exceptional. unique. breath-taking.

Is OP hypocritical for not wanting AJ to get another crack at Usyk but Fury should when he was flopping around the ring like a fish in the 1st one?

No. AJ got two fights, Fury gets two fights. Fairs fair. What isn't fair is having a third shot after already losing two.

And yes, I'll be the first one to speak up if Fury loses the second fight and they look at having a third.

That's because Usyk let him off the hook in the 12th round and never left 1st gear.

It's irrelevant to my point which you haven't actually addressed. Are you saying AJ shouldn't have been given a rematch to begin with?

I'd put it down to his age, he must be thinking of cashing in and then winding down soon. Let's not forget he got to where his is now the hard way, he was in so many battles on the way up.

I'd understand that argument, but he's already had three big money fights and is about to get a 4th in his rematch with Fury. Not bad for only 6 fights at heavyweight.

If AJ had beaten the Wilder Parker beat I doubt you'd be hailing it as a good win.

AJ is a victim of British overhyping...anything short of flawless dominant wins until retirement now will not be forgiven.

Let him off the hook? Or more like had the fight in hand and didn't see any reason to play with a dangerous opponent late? The main narrative of the sport ATM is "best fight the best"so it strikes me as odd that anyone would be agaisnt 2 of the top 3 heavyweights matching up. And regardless of how you feel about AJ he's had the most impressive reign of the 3, and been the top draw of the division for a while now. Why are so many fans in such a rush to discard him? Is there an aspect to this I'm missing?
