    Miranda has NO left hand.

If you can neutralize his right by staying away from it and keeping your LEFT hand up, like stupid ass trying to look pretty but didn't save him when he got knocked the **** out Banks failed to do, you have a very good chance to beat him.

Hopkins would beat him relatively easily.

Pascal is not Banks. He won`t stand beside the ropes and wait for Miranda to punch him... I think he will win the fight because of his speed...

I always liked Miranda, from the first time I saw him. He's exciting and big time fun to watch. The ONLY time I ever rooted against him was vs. Pavlik.

The promoters/boxing gods must really hate Banks:lol: . He has sure as hell been thrown to the lions, huh?

Yes, and the fight against Pavlick was no reason to left the bandwagon, it was a great fight and a slugfest and Miranda can be proud, even though he lost the fight.
After this fight it became clear what a type of fighter Pavlick was! Before the fight he was just an unbeaten fighter with lots of tomatocans in his record, but after the people saw what Pavlick brings to the table against Miranda it would be clear that he would become one of the next stars at middleweight. And with his win against Taylor he proved it. I knew he would beat Taylor, and he will beat him again.

I don't know if Miranda was rusty, trying something new, or whatever, but I thought he looked horrible in the 1st and 2nd round. He looked slow, and he got caught clean a couple times. The 3rd round was different. He looked to be applying more pressure and then, BOOM. I wonder if in the first two rounds, he was just focused on getting better defensively.

Miranda is a very exciting fighter - so I never really jumped off the bandwagon.

    Very impressive win last night.

he's a very good fighter. but he won't win against A-level opponents much less elite fighters.

I'll always be a fan of his, but I'm skeptical about his ability to win a world title. He is what he is: a B class powerful puncher with heart and toughness. So in other words, he'll always make for very entertaining fights regardless of what level he is competing on. I wish him the best...

Knockouts generate excitement. And that excitement sometimes turns into hype by media or fans. Miranda delivers knockouts.
Also, considering what he went through and things he had to overcome to get to where he is today, that adds some glory to his success and people want to believe that he will be the next big thing.
His character too-he is that type of raw guy who will fight anyone, anywhere and not back down, win or loose. He fights because of pride, necessity, and that's (boxing) all he's got.
