Are people less interested in watching Anthony Joshua fight Deontay Wilder now that he has lost?

They should have both of those fights on the same card as a double header, now that would create interest.

Ruiz fought far better against AJ than Rahman did v Lewis, he just landed a lucky punch where as Ruiz was brilliant showing amazing hand speed.

A fight between a prime Lewis and AJ or Wilder would have been far more interesting than any of Lewis`s title fights.

Most majority of AJ fans are casual Social media fans (the same Social Media Simps lurking over photoshopped thots), would this fanbase want to see Rude-Violent Deontay Wilder tear up their now vulnerable Idol?

Also boxing hardcore are less interested as its no longer a 50/50 fight, now that Joshua showed everyone he is willing to quit when he is hurt

    Yes.

I mean, it's taken the glean of the mega fight - I don't see the clamour for it at the moment.

Both have business elsewhere. Wilder with Fury, Ortiz et al and Joshua to rebuild and see if he can gain retribution against Ruiz. But, on the basis of the last fight, and if he is saying he had the perfect camp and preparation - he needs drastic change in order to win his belts back.

When it suits, fans on here will say a loss doesn't mean a thing but often it does.

When 2 fighters have an 0 the bout gets rated higher.

The 0 often seems more important than the facts most of the time.

Many felt Wilder lost to Fury but because Wilder still has an 0 and title a fight after with AJ was still considered to be arguably the biggest HW fight that could be made.
Had Fury got the decision and with having a title and 0 then that fight would then have become the biggest fight even though what went on in the ring could be the same

Would Joshua/Wilder be thought of higher with a loss? I don't think so

I lost interest in the fight when Wilder turned down the hundred million and made it clear he had no intentions of ever fighting Joshua, so this doesn't seem like a missed opportunity to me.

Superfights suck, more often than not, and with most of the anticipation for this one out the window I don't see the point really.

Belgium. I could watch the Joshua vs Ruiz card. It was on some sports channel I'm subscribed to. But they don't broadcast every event. Like the GGG thing from last night I couldn't watch. So it was MMA for me last night because I'm subscribed to UFC fightpass. Life would be a lot easier with DAZN or BoxNation though.

it lost something. Of course. Now we know if Wilder hits Joshua on the chin he will probably hurt him for sure. It also helps Joshua in that Wilder might take him for granted.

I think AJ looked as good as Wilder did v Fury, but if Wilder catches him with the kind of right he caught Breazale with, AJ will not get up at all, Wilder is a harder puncher than AJ.

Actually they are quite similar in that regard. Neither one of them hide taking a big shot very well.

Do you think Tyson hid shots that hurt him better v Smith, Bruno, Douglas and Ruddock?

Are you comparing Tyson's chin to Wilder's and Joshua's? It took an accumulation of punches from much bigger fighters to get Tyson's attention. How many shots did it take Douglas to get rid of Tyson? How many shots did a completely shot Mike Tyson eat from Lennox Lewis? How many times has Wilder and Joshua been shook from one shot. There is no comparison.
