i havent been reading what people have said about Marquez, but Marquez is a dangerous opponent, hes under Pacmans shadow. Mayweather is that good too beat Marquez, but don't Underestimate Marquez, this is hella of a close fight

You have a logical thread . . . that requires logical response.

No I'm not under estimating JMM . . . it's just that JMM's last fight was at 135 where he weigh in at 134.5 . . . now he's gonna be fighting at 144 against a guy who is younger and faster and is an excelent tactician himself.

TAKE NOTE . . . JMM failed to KO a faded MAB who is at survival mode at 130 . . . and failed to KO Juarez too . . . also to mention he lost via close SD against Pac . . . you honestly think that adding 10 pounds at the age of 36 won't be a factor against him? :yep

Well we all know one thing JMM will not give up, and will fight till bell or he gets knocked out. Which has never happened, he always gets up and fights stronger.

I think people are overestimating Marquez because of what Pacman has done to Oscar and Ricky. Normally a guy moving up from really 130 to fight Mayweather would be a mismatch. Yeah Marquez did stop at 135, but really not too long ago he was at 130.

Marquez is a great boxer..but he wont be a match for Mayweather assuming it is the same mayweather from a couple years ago..Bad mismatch for Marquez :/

YES and Marquez is a hungry fighter looking for revenge with Pacman ! He needs to beat Money for that and he'll have fire in his eyes !!

Totally agree about size, however that was my reason for picking Fatton. I thought he would be too big but he got annihilated.

Maybe JMM can carry his power and PBF, after a long layoff, will be taken into later rounds against a very technical counterpuncher. Who knows?

However, I am only basing all this on size. P4P I rank JMM and PBF on a par since JMM has fought not cherrypicked.

I can't understand why people are so excited for this fight... Marquez the counter puncher vs Mayweather? I hope its action packed, but I doubt it.

The reason the Pac/Marquez fights were so good is because Pac was very active which gave Marquez lots of opportunities to counter.

I see Marquez getting frustrated with Floyd's running and he knows he will either have to initiate or lose a snoozer. He will start trying to come inside during the middle rounds and get picked apart. I hope I'm wrong, but thats how I see it playing out.

Marquez is the type of fighter its hard to hate. He has almost everything in his arsenal and a great boxing brain. I was rooting for Juan Diaz in their bout and although Diaz lost I still think he proved his worth in there and there is no shame losing to a guy like JMM but to be fair to Diaz he was all over JMM and had the cut not appeared I reckon he'd have went on to win the fight and PBF will know this and you can almost be certain that every weakness JMM has however well hidden is something that Floyd will expose come fight night.

Marquez is the kind of fighter that you see every 10 years or so but Floyd is a once in a lifetime fighter and I suspect he will prove that al over again on his return
