Unless that was sarcasm, feel free to objectively disagree with him. Considering people as respected as Alan Aragon and Eric Helms have dedicated hours of their time to have discussions with him, it's safe to say his information is respected by people infinitely more knowledgable than anybody on this board.

    Sounds absolutely ridiculous tbh.

Or maybe it's the unedcuated that are quick to lap up such nonsense.

I like to keep away from the petty bickering when it comes to topics like this where people can learn something, so here is something on the topic of protein safety:

    https://www.biomedcentral.com/content/pdf/1550-2783-1-1-45.pdf

Also, a lot of RDs will tell you how protein is going kill your kidneys, but they base that off the markers that can be associated with high protein diets that also correlate with liver/kidney problems. I know you mentioned the article said specifically protein shakes, but I genuinely haven't seen a shred of compelling evidence that would substantiate it, post it when you get the chance mate.

In fairness, although high protein diets have been proven safe in the short term, we simply don't know how things will pan out in the long term.
