Yeah it's odd. Konadu ships a lot...then goes straight back in the corner Their first fight is arguably one of the most exciting super fly clashes of all time. Moon Vs Khaosai at super fly would be savage and violent as ****.
Rob, then surely my point on Taylor-Chavez will help you come to a conclusion? That they're not always worthwhile but it doesn't necessarily diminish from the first. D-Mac, Montiel has been on a roll as of late and I loved him when he was at super fly (think Mijares would've beaten him when te matchup was at it's hottest) but Moon had am iron chin and was reletless. He beat Konadu, who was a better technician and as good a puncher as Montiel IMO. He'd batter Fernando. In my opinion :good
Are you just taking a **** on everything? How does a less interesting rematch effect the quality of the original? It's not like it replaces it.
Fair enough. What exact way would this superman finish him? Would it be: (a) The laser blasts from his eyes. (b) Lightning from his ass. (c) Breath fire on him, from out of his sacred mouth. (d) Strangle him with his flexible steel pubes. (e) Drown him in liquid gold from out of his bellend. I'm just ****ing with ya. Never even seen this guy Moon fight.
if theres a contreversial decision, or a boxer wants one because he beleives he can do better, thats ok, but not if he,s been bashed and needs the money.
as soon as theres a 2nd or 3rd fight you cant think of one without the others. for me when I think of Marquez vs Diaz 1, i will think Marquez vs Diaz 2. The 2 fights are a story, each fight is a chapter. the chapters can remain great but the overall story has been tainted. I don't really see why your so offended by that as well.
true, but i am sure if Hagler had continued on for a few more years, a rematch with Hearns will of happened, and not lived up to the expectations fans had from the first. fights like hagler vs hearns, and marquez vs diaz never needed a rematch, there was a clear winner and a feeling the better man had won. agreed, if there a controversial decision, close split or draw, do it again, but for last nights fight i just think there was no real point to it and would have rather seen Marquez against Soto or Katsidis.
I too would've preferred Soto or Katsidis too. D-Mac; check Moon out, arguably the hardest hitter in the divisions history :good
I'm not offended, I just don't see why you're so down on everything right now. The world isn't perfect.
