Are some of the toughest fighters journeymen?

    Guys like Ali et al usually get praise for their toughness and while i don't doubt theirs, i think it deserves mentioning that for every Ali, there are 100 Wepners, Ledoux's, Purrity's, Wilson's, Jaco's, Scrapiron Johnson etc.

    They don't have to luxery that the extremely talented fighters have who can pick their spots; they have to fight hard for every punch that they land and usually take several in return for it. Usually they can't afford to train much and know that the guy in front of them is lightyears more talented, conditioned and skilled, and basically they are paid to lose. Often have to live with being knocked out, feeling humiliated, being busted up etc. Yet they keep fighting.
