Are some people seriously rating Floyd Mayweather as the best WW ever?

All scrubs. Except for Paul Williams. Cotto struggled against Malignaggi, got chased out of the ring by Ndou and got destroyed by Margarito. Margarito's best win was cotto, he had 5 losses, got destroyed by Mosley who Mayweather toyed with and lost to a green Paul Williams. Berto has beaten nobody.

Mosley is a better WW victory then any of those names with maybe the exception of Paul Williams and Mayweather beats them handily.

Dont tell me you are one of those ****ing morons that thought that Cotto and Margarito were anything but B level fighters do you?

The fact that this is Mayweathers 4th weight class and he's in some peoples top 30 welterweights is a testament to his abilities.

He isn't even in Top 20 imo. I could name even more than 20 names that would beat him. altho his skills allow him to be in ze 3rd 10, surely top 30 ww. Top 150 atg. the point is, he has a **** resume and after Pacquaio he'd have one TKO lose with a midget as he calls.

Floyd is a long long way from being anywhere near even a top 50 welter.

Just not his division , down at lightweight its a different story, much better fighter down their.

His welterweight resume is better then his lightweight resume.

I ****ing hate when noob say dumb**** like this.

"Floyd was a better lightweight" Uhh no he wasnt. He had like 4 fights at the weight.

He was a better superfeatherwieght. But Welterweight he has his second best resume of his entire career. He's defeated 4 former lineal or current lineal champions.

No way in hell he is even close to the best WW of all time when you put factors like era into the equation. I think that goes to SRL.

He is a decent one though and rates high on lists. If you say skill for skill as a Boxer? He can hang on ANY list, but based on career arch at WW? No way. He is still great though.

Who needs resume when you win all fantasy match ups.

    Fantasy victory > actual resume

Just more hating on Mayweather it never ends.

Mayweather establishes himself as the greatest super featherweight of all-time. And he sucks because he fought the likes of De La Hoya, Castillo and Mosley afterwords.

well ****ing hell that guy sucks.

Some people just cant get over with.. they seem to rank boxers not giving the
criteria for a clear study...i think it is more of a survey ..the quality of opponents, time frame of fights , quality of fights must have an impact on the ranking system. Perhaps they are just drawing attention for more public
    viewing..the more comments ...the better:hi:

Cmon, calling Cotto and Margarito scrubs. Was that a joke? Mayweather welterweight resume leaves a lot to be desired when compared to the best welterweights of his era, who actually went out and fought each other.

    Cotto-
    Mosley W
    Margarito L
    Pacquiao L
    Clottey W
    Judah W
    Quintana W
    Urkal W

    Pacquiao-
    Cotto W
    Clottey W
    De La Hoya W
    Margarito W
    Mosley

    Margarito-
    Cotto W
    Mosley L
    P.Williams L
    Pacquiao L
    Clottey W
    Cintron W x2
    Six-Head Lewis W
    Martinez W
    Santos D

    Mosley-
    De La Hoya W
    Margarito W
    Cotto L
    Forrest Lx2
    Collazo W
    Mayweather L
    Pacquiao

B level fighters at best. Nothing to be astonished about. Floyds victories over Castillo and Corrales and Mosley 3 far more accomplished fighters mean far more.

Cotto and Margarito are top rank manufactured hype jobs nothing more.

A gift decision against Clottey and a edge decision against Mosley. Average resume at best.

Even worse then Cotto. Cant believe you put Martinez in there. Like that fight meant anything when it happened.

Between the Mosley-Cotto-marg triangle, Mosley had the most impressive victory. Floyd whoooped Mosley easily.
