Are some people unable to get the stamina required for boxing despite training hard ?

    Nurture vs nature, it's an incredibly grey and contested debate that will probably last till the end of time. There's just too many people, with too many split agendas and too much invested in those agendas to find any real objectivity. Even with objectivity it's incredibly hard to determine how much of a person's output is genetic determinism or mere conditioning. It's obviously a mixture of the two, but how much so is the question.

    I agree with most of the above where stamina is different over distance and time
    I think that in some sports your weight can make a difference a light cyclist is better on the grand tours (Tour de France ect)
    If your are a muscle man you can get gassed quickly

    Every person is too different for this to be anything other than a guess.

    There's so many different attributes that affect this question.

    People aren't robots, so obviously it's on a case by case question
