If steroids and PEDs were the primary sources of success to Boxers or all athletes, you would be headlining sports pages yourself.

if your not a very good fighter, steroids won't change that. It does make a difference though, if you say, you have two fighters at the top and one is taking steroids and the other isn't...

Mosley, yes.. he used EPO. This increases red blood cell count, basically increased endurance and recovery.

Rios, no. He used something that used to be in pre workout drinks, nothing more really than a strong energy supplement, He fought pacquiao in the morning (china) which is why i'd assume he took this

No, 100% every round would cause more accumulative damage to your opponent. Getting seriously hurt in boxing is generally due to accumulation.

Look at the difference in Mosley once Floyd made him do full random blood testing. Floyd knew Mosley was using.

well imo what Rios took was MORE of a performance enhancing drug than say a testosterone..He got caught for DMAA which is very powerful and gives you an unbelievable energy and stamina boost ,im not talking like taking a couple of red bulls im talking much more like a class A drug such as amphetamine or cocaine..

perhaps testosterone could even work against a boxer if they carry too much oxygen sapping muscle into the ring

    Higher test = Iron chin

Not to mention the muscle growth on the neck and traps.

i can take your point on the neck/trap muscle growth being good for punch resistance ....Roids are known to really bulk the traps up

Steroids, and not HGH or supplements. Yes and no.

Steroids can help you heal an injury, or get stronger / work out with a quicker recovery rate, but the trade off is you become a bit more susceptible to injury.

Most of the ROID users in the processional game who were busted are smaller guys moving up in weight or class...Roy Jones, James Toney, Evander Holyfield etc..

duh. if it's not then it should not have been banned. why do boxers gamble their career by using illegal substances if does nothing?

The Somalian is juicing. He only came to the UK as an average athlete after all.
