American born fighters get more hype for no reason, that isnt an opinion but a fact!

Morales was past his best but he wasn't shot to ****, Infact he arguably beat Maidana at 140.

I'd take Lemieux's wins over N'dam, Stevens, Guerrerro and maybe Rosado over anything Trout has done bar beat Cotto.

Outside of Cotto who has Trout beaten?

Lol I have no personal issues with you bro life’s to short to dwell on this subject, in the grand scheme of things this argument is irrelevant.

They're good but the same clowns that crucified GGG for ''facing LMWs who'd moved up'' are now insisting that GGG has got to face one in Jermallo and are already claiming GGG is going to duck him even though his other mandatory Derevyanchenko is an actual MW (and a highly skilled a very talented one at that) and didn't earn his shot by beating a peg-leg cripple whose injury left him so feeble and lame he was about as effective as a pidgeon with a broken wing fighting for its survival in a cat sanctuary. I'm yet to see one of these clowns claim GGG will duck Derevyanchenko. In fact, they've already devoted more energy to criticizing GGG for a future duck of Jermallo than they did to the plethora of world champions and top contenders who actually did duck or avoid GGG and spent years doing so like he had Ebola and the Plague at the shame time. It was a disgusting and shameful episode how long he was denied his opportunity to unify and contest the lineal crown and face the top dogs of the division and the only energy many of these clowns devoted to criticizing anyone for it was actually directed at GGG not them lol.

Like I said on the other thread.

    1. Canelo rematch
    2. Unification match up for all the marbles against the winner of BJS and Lemieux.
    3. If GGG decides to continue with his career and opts to stay at 160, then he can defend against his other mandatory Derevyachenko who is an actual career MW.
    4. And then if GGG doesn't move up or hang up his gloves he can accomodate Jermallo.

In the meantime Jermallo could do something to try and separate himself from the rest of the pack to push himself into third place, but if not he'll just have to wait his turn like a good boy.

You can always include a weighted average perspective into the equation adding significance to Trouts Cotto win.

I'm not disputing that Cotto is a significantly better win than what Lemieux has done, BUT.....other than Cotto Trout hasn't beaten a B Level fighter let alone an A.

Trout is good but not great of even very good. He's a fighter who will always test but fail at the very top.

Charlo must wait his turn for sure I don’t co-sign any talk of ducking it’s premature nonsense. I will admit if it makes dollars then it certainly makes sense so if the money is right I don’t have issues with the match up happening more sooner than later.

True, again I need to empathize that the hype at similar stages in both GGG and Charlo’s career are comparable.

Yeah I don't have a problem with the fight. In fact, I'd like to see it if GGG is still around or at 160 then. First the Canelo rematch, and if GGG is successful in that one, the next fight has to be the winner of BJS and Lemieux for all 4 belts although obviously that's going to probably take a year until both those ones are out of the way, but a year is a long time for the rest of the guys next in line to stake their claim as the most deserving challenger to his crown, or whomever holds it by that time if it's not him.

I personally think Charlo would pose more of a treat to GGG/Canelo versus the likes of BJS/Lemmy/Andrade/Dereyv but that’s just me.
