Are the hW's of to day really that fat n out of shape or is it just a way to demean the Klitschko brothers :huh I mean take for Instance Fedor Emelienenko you would look at him to be the same by looks yet that dude can go 5 rounds and kick anyones ass every sec of them rounds.
I remember how bad ass everyone thought Sam Peter was Smashing everyone in his way till he met Wlad..then all the sudden he was a fat bum..Its not that they are that bad its that the Klitschkos are that good.

    Exactly as Timmy says.

Not their fault they're fighting in the worst HW era ever.

I'm a WK supporter (VK can go **** himself for selfishly hogging half his brother's rightful glory) and no, it isn't just something to demean them.

If anything, it's a cause of frustration for the Klitschkos and any sympathizers that there simply aren't any respectable challengers.

I don't think the west can produce athletes as big and fit as the eastern superheavyweights. They try and compete with the big guys by adding more weight. I think we just can't make them that big, fast, and strong. Lennox was the last.

    The Klitschkos are anomalies though.

Valuev is big, but not athletic or fit. Ditto Helenius...and Dimitrenko...and Ustinov (although Ustinov couldn't box his way through a Toughman competition, unlike the others).

Chagaev, Povetkin, Boytsov - all the rest of the best of the European heavies are all on the "small" side.

It isn't as though "they" are producing bigger and fitter heavyweights than "us".

    It's two guys.

Unfortunately they are out of shape and most of them are simply not athletic.

David Haye hasn't done much at Heavyweight but he's athletic he shows up in shape. Despite coming up in to HW from Cruiserweight he'd be considered Wlad's best win if Wlad were to fight and beat him.

The Heavyweight division simply lacks talent.

This isn't to undermine the Klitschko's who are professional and show up in shape each and every time it's really is a reflection of the division.

But that is such a subjective statement, worst era ever. Louis only fought 17 HW's in his career, the rest would be cruisers today. Holmes fought numerous low level opponents and his most - hyped fight was Cooney, who was a crude slugger. Patterson and Johannson most likely wouldn't win a HW title today and I doubt that Moorer or comeback Foreman would have much of a chnce either.

Greatness of an era, certain fighters and matchups is so much about the media attention, charisma and circumstances. Ali - Frazier was labeled fight of the century, Holmes - Norton would never get such hype. But H2H, those versions of Holme and Norton might have beaten Ali and Frazier. Their fight wasn't a lesser fight in terms of ability, just in termsn of hype.

    Yeah.

Same thing happened in Kirk Johnson vs. John Ruiz.

Different era and different build ups. Fight never got the hype fight of the century did, but H2H bearded warrior would have own Ali and Frazier.

Kirk would have give em hell too

yes they are that fat and out shape, but more importantly they don't have any boxing skills at all. Your only as good as your competition.
