Are the Klitschko's the most avoided boxers today?

The Brits are all that matters dumb ****. The tix are already sold out and if it does what it should with PPV sales Haye will eclipse anything Wlad could ever dream of doing without him. Haye will not make as much as he would have against a Klit cos there's no US interest, but he'll make a **** load more than Wlad will ever make without him.

ESB is crawling with dumb **** Klit fanatics. You idiots have no answer to the facts. Wlad would have been paid about 4mn Euro for a Povetkin fight. This is out there and clear fact. That is a ****ing joke! Haye will make more than double that against bum nobody A-Force. Haye is very marketable, Wlad is COMMERCIAL GARBAGE and a bum champ. Accept it **** heads.

 

Davo again I think you are being to harsh in your criticism but the one thing you got right is taht the K2 fans have no answers for facts and logic. Read every thread they make up things and throw in opinions instead of going by the facts presented.

 

I remember reading an article a couple weeks ago titled "The Klitschko money machine".

Here's some details about the Peter fight:

* RTL 3 million EUR
* Rest of the world TV 500k EUR
* Sponsoring 500k EUR
* Gate 1 million EUR

Total 5 million EUR.

From that 3 million EUR went straight into Wlad's pockets as his payday, the rest covered costs such as Peter's purse, insurance, training camp, trainer (Steward collects 200k EUR per fight).

German newspaper Bild estimates Wlad's networth to be about 20 million EUR, Vitali's around 15 million. They're both paying taxes in Germany while spending part of the year living in the US.

To that add sponsoring contracts (A fitness studio chain, vitamin company, Mercedes-Benz etc.) bringing in an additional 2 million EUR a year per brother. At 2-3 fights a year Wlad can clear about 3 million EUR x 2.5 + 2 million sponsoring = 9.5 million EUR a year = $13 million Dollars. Before taxes.

Obviously this is good money in absolute terms, although a far cry of what older luminaries like Holyfield or Lewis cleared with US PPV.

Good post. I have been saying this over and over but Klit fanatic ****s will not accpet it. $10mn for 3 fights is ****ing Garbage for the long-time HW 'champ'. I bet Amir Khan makes more money than piece of **** Wlad. For Valuev, Ruiz and Harrison I guarantee that Haye will make **** loads more than the consensus most boring HW champ in History Wlad has in his last 3.

Obviously Haye has plenty of costs but do you cocks realise that the Valuev PPV alone generated over $15mn!!!! Haye does not need Wlad to make money but the Klits are ****ed without him.

Wlad is a bum champ and commercial garbage. These are just facts.

 

If you assume Haye made 800k PPV for Valuev, 400k Ruiz and will make another 800k for Harrison. He makes 5 quid gross per sale from Sky out of the 14.95. That's a total of 2 million sales x 5 GBP = 10 million pounds revenues for Haye. So that's an avg. of 3.3m GBP per fight. Then add in gate maybe another 750k pounds per fight? So we're at around 4m GBP per fight. Around 5 million EUR.

Then he splits that with Sauerland. I have no idea what share they take for their options. Could be anywhere from 5% to 20%? I am just guessing here, maybe somebody has some input here. That would leave Haye with something like 4-4.5 million EUR per fight. Also out of that income Haye pays his manager and trainer Adam Booth, his opponent's purse, his sparring partners etc. Probably 1 million EUR for these costs is not too far off. So Haye takes about 3 million EUR per fight straight to the bank.

He fights twice a year, making around 6 million EUR a year before taxes. Purely guesstimating. Not sure if Haye has any product endorsement deals or advertising setup that bring additional substantial revenues.

Source for £5 gross figure on PPV sales. I've heard this figure only on forums and it is a substantially lower share than US promoters get for PPVs.

Also, £1mn for his sparring partners and trainer is ******ed. If Manny Steward gets 200k Euro I don't see this making sense.

Finally, when do Finkel, Bonte and the rest of K2 get paid? If you want to take out every penny a fighter spends you better go get Wlad and Haye's bank statements.

NOOOOOOOOOO the only person you could say avoided them was David Haye... Every other **** in the Heavyweight division would LOVE to fight them..... Just theres literally NOBODY in the heavyweight division.....

If anything they are the TWO fighters that people want to fight = The Old Washed up 90s fighters like Briggs, and Fat little stumps like Peter... and the rest of the shitty lot...

Whenever i hear from any Heavyweight in today's boxing, they are full of ambition and desire to smash the Klits up..... I ain't heard one scared thing from ANY heavy...
