Yeah imagine when Ali came out of exile, he and Frazier didnt fight as they were friends - They would actually prolong each others careers, by not fighting the toughest contenders out there. The fact is the Klitchkos are avoiding the difficult fights where as the guys who fight them aren't!!
wlad has improved as a fighter a lot he has dom. for a long timr now and will continue to do so to bad we didn t get to see him and lewis fight
It could hurt their standing somewhat to an extent. Not that they won't fight each other, but if one brother beats half the top contenders and the other beats half, well obviously each guy's resume/achievements/all-time standing will suffer. Since you'll be ranking each fighter individually, not as a duo. But I don't really see it that much as the case. Wlad's been doing good work for the last 4 to 5 years, consistently fighting and beating contenders/titlists. Vitali was inactive for nearly 4 years, and the guys he's been beating in his comeback have been lesser than the fighters his brother has beaten in recent years. Vitali's most notable win of his comeback is against a guy that Wlad already beat. While Peter had a title in 2008, was he really better than he had been three years ago? I don't really think so. But as for the question of them being the only ATGs that never had to fight the #2 guy, well I'd wait until their careers are done to see if they are ATGs. And Jack Dempsey shows that if one turns out to be an ATG, then he's not the only ATG who never faced the #2 guy. Jack Dempsey never faced the #2 guy and other quality fighters because his promoter wouldn't let him. Wlad hasn't faced the #2 guy because it's his own blood. I think the latter is a more acceptable reason.
