    Here it's really simple:

Each time Pac requested a CW he was moving up. He wasn't sure he could handle his 7th or 8th division, can't blame him. Turns out he can handle 7, but not 8, just like Floyd can't handle 5. When he won the bogus 8th belt, Pac promptly dropped it and announced the weight was too much. Compare 2x SWW champ Floyd

Now Floyd is requesting a big weight stipulation while holding a belt in the division above. You shouldn't be surprised there's an uproar. Besides the outrageous hypocrisy, this is pretty much unheard of. Even the paperest of champs wil notl ask for something like that.

So long, we hardly knew ya, Espinoza. Who cares about this pawn, Schaefer, Oscar and Haymon can't be happy things are looking so bleak for their sole TV outlet. Soon enough Gary Shaw and Goossen are gonna start looking very appealing, with all those premium HBO dates. Karma is all it is

Why would I have an issue with Floyd not wanting to fight Alvarez at 154 because he feels that the weight discrepancy would be too much? Alvarez would outweigh him by about 20 pounds and is about a decade and a half younger. If it's true that Mayweather doesn't want to fight him because of the weight difference, I'm perfectly fine with that. Especially if he has no plans on fighting at that weight again anyway. In the end, Mayweather has far more to lose than Canelo has and it's not a fight that he has to make.

Wasn't that the same scenario with Chavez Jr vs Martinez? :rofl Oh but that right...Martinez was in no position to demand **** where as Floyd is because he is the "cash cow"

Wether *****s realize it or not, Showtime will need to have this fight made soon in order to get back what they invested in Floyd. Whoever are left as opponents won't even compare in sales to what a Canelo/Mayweather will sale. Floyd might be guranteed 32 million per fight but I am sure Showtime/GBP wont just sit around poking their asses and taking the loss.

Its the other way around. If Mayweather is smart, he will take the fight right now before he gets any older and while Canelo is still "learning".

The reason everyone, besides the *****s, are demanding a Floyd/Canelo fight is because Canelo is his only "threat" left. Khan, Alexander, Garcia, Matthysse and PEDerson aren't or won't even be considered a threat to Floyd. Once Floyd eliminates his only "threat" what is there for him next? Nothing! Then he can just finish his career by fighting the LWW coming up to WW.

And before anyone says that a new "threat" will appear after Canelo for Floyd, there really is none in the short period of time Floyd has to finish his contract. The only one, in my opinion, who might pop up as a "demand" to fight Floyd is Broner, but we will see what happens with that in time.

Canelo wouldn't be a threat at all even with 1-2 years of experience if they were the same weight. It's the advanced skillset with the weight advantage that might help him beat Mayweather. He needs to drain 25-30 pounds and be ready to deal with the exhaustion in the late rounds that comes from draining oneself.

Canelo has outgrown 154 a long time ago. The only reason he is still draining himself is because he is desperate for a Floyd fight. Everyone is.

Floyd never said he's never fighting at 154 again, or did I miss a press conference or something?

Oscar was nearly 20 lbs bigger than him too on fight night. Hell, Ortiz was 164 on fight night despite being a welterweight. Why is it ok to let fighter A have a size advantage but not fighter B? Be consistent.
