Ruiz has a better defense than AJ, his hands are held in clever positions making it hard for AJ to land and his hand speed was quicker than AJ`s.

AJ was more repsected in boxing circles at the time of his first fight with Ruiz than Tommy was when he fought Mercer and has more superior belts than Tommy had at that time, the WBO was a minor title at that time, AJ was recognised as a legit champ while everbody in the 90`s was watched what was going on with the more established unified belts.

On William Hill, Ruiz opened as +250 and is now down to +220. AJ is currently -275 (I *think* he opened at -300).

These odds are to take advantage of it you think Ruiz has a good chance of winning - British fighters often get backed in way past the point it makes any sense. Obviously stupid odds to bet on AJ.

I believe the AJ plan will be to jab-hug to a UD, remembering that if AJ is standing at the end, he has a very very good chance of winning.

    Of course they're fair.

Odds don't reflect odd of an even happening, they reflect odds of the bookies making a profit.

They know the majority will bet on AJ so the odds have to reflect that.
