You haven't answered my question. No doubt because "Ali was the greatest, cos he just was". Pathetic!

I never said Ali could beat everyone with a jab you did....
Ali wasn't defined by a jab but more the will to win allied with speed and a great chin.
    Would he beat everyone?
Of course he wouldn't he lost several times in his own era the point is he fought everyone in a great era.
Once you get Fury's and Wilder's knob's out of your mouth you may understand this.....but I doubt it because you are merely a troll.
I will starve you of the attention that you seek making this my last response to you....
So try and bait someone else knob sucker...

So what bit of my criticism of Ali's resume did you disagree with?

Where are you going with this?

He initially said that Wilder and Tyson haven’t got deep resumes.

You then mentioned the resumes of Ali’s opponents.

I don’t know why you mentioned that.

Ali himself had a very good resume. I can’t really think of anyone who he didn’t fight, who would be seen as being a big omission from his era.

    Ali fought pretty much everyone.

    Tyson hasn’t done that yet.

If Usyk beats AJ again, Tyson will be criticised if he doesn’t fight him.

The initial point, was that you have overrated Tyson by basically saying that nobody in history could have beaten him.

My point about Ali's resume is as follows: Who said the guys Ali beat were any good in the first place? Surely they should be judged on the level of fighters they themselves have beaten?

At the time that he fought them, yes, questions could have been asked regarding some of them. But we now obviously have the benefit of knowing what they all went on to achieve afterwards. So we can see the whole picture.

Ali has some very good wins, and he took fights that he should never have taken.

    Patterson x 2
    Liston x 2
    Frazier x 3
    Norton x 3
    Foreman
    Shavers
    Holmes

    Fighting Holmes was a travesty.

    A great resume though.

My point is...look at the records of the fighters in those 'great wins'. What made them so great? They'd have been considered bums in the modern era with all their losses to guys with losses in the double figures.

All of them. All lost to bums with multiple losses to other bums.

Current day there's to many politics involved, no one wants to lose there 0 and rematch clauses etc.

Fury was held up for 3 years fighting 1 person who he soundly beat all 3 times now his retiring without fighting majority of the field.
