I used to use these rankings as a benchmark, but they seem to be getting a bit ridiculous.

My 1st issue was sticking Guerrero into number 10 p4p, a month before the floyd fight was announced, when noone i knew had ever mentioned him as a p4p boxer.

    2nd issue:
There Welterweight Rankings Have Guerrero at number 4, ahead of Manny Pac (For Beating Andre Berto!!) Again to hype up a future fight!

They Have Malignaggi at number 6! Ahead Bradley and Alexander who would both destoy Paulie, and also have better welter wins.
But yes Malignaggi is a bigger name and a big earner for Goldenboy!

Its all nearly as Bad as wehen Mosley has one good win in 5 years against Margoreato a fighter tailor made for him, and they throw him straight in at number 3 p4p and number 1 welter!

Any other shocking Rankings there, or do people think they're still credible

Mares became the #4 fighter at 122 pounds based on his one performance there: a dominant 120-108 UD over Eric Morel at a catch weight of 120 pounds.

P4P placement of both Broner and Guerrero are horrible. Guerrero should be head and shoulders above Broner, but neither in the top 10 at all.

As far as the current WW rankings, I agree with the Floyd-JMM-Guerrero-Pacquiao order. However, Bradley should clearly be #5 rather than #8 and Alexander should bump ahead of Paulie for #7 (with Brook being the #6).

They dropped Huck from his #1 CW ranking when he moved up to face Povetkin. They kept him ranked through most of the training and despite Huck stating he would likely return but when YPH vs. Cunningham II was going to be had to make a CW Ring champ out of the winner. Clearly neither of them were the #1 CW. This after Pacquiao kept his 140 Ring title even after the Clottey victory, his second straight and third fight at WW.

For the strawweights, I have a major issue with Mario Rodriguez being #4 below Raul Garcia, Denver Cuello, and Wanheng Menayothin. That has got to be one of my biggest complaints about a ranking ever.

Not considering the PED positive test, there is no reason for Felix Sturm to be ranked ahead of Sam Soliman after a H2H victory in addition to Sturm having 3 of his previous 4 fights likely losses or at the least, understandably controversial.

Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. not being ranked at 122 pounds is pretty dumb.

Yuriorkis Gamboa being ranked #3 at 130 pounds after a non-outstanding victory over unranked Farenas as his only fight there is pretty in explainable.

Khan being ranked over Peterson is a total joke.

I have issues with every division ranking they have, but these are some of the bigger ones.

and do you think the reasons for the disagreement, are because its a subjective sport, and we won't all agree on rankings. Or do you think The Ring Rankings have Goldenboy/Marketing agenda written all over it.

And why is Ortiz still Ranked! His last 2 fights caused him to self implde in the ring in one, and kget KO'd by an average unranked fighter coming up in weight.
    And he's not fought since.

I know why he's still in there, he's a sexy markatable fighter and part of goldenboy

They were always a bit biased towards American boxers, but for the rest I sticked with them for being the most accurate by far.
Things didn't change much when GBP took over in the beginning, but it's influence became more and more over time, until the point they're starting to look like one of the alphabets with their enormously biased ranking.
