Eddie Hearn has come out and said they will now NOT look to make the wilder fight and instead look to fight Hrgovic for the vacant IBF belt (winner of fury vs usyk wont be able to defend IBF belt because of rematch clause so they will get stripped)

Eddie Hearn said a couple months ago they didnt want to fight Tyson Fury for the belts cause they have the ‘ Deontay Wilder fight locked in ’ which we now know was a blantant lie and they want to fight wilder instead of winning the belts

now this week Eddie Hearn said that Anthony Joshua becoming 3x champion is the priority so now belts are important again ? so why didnt he accept the generous offer Fury made ? its obvious Hearn is never going to put Joshua with anyone dangerous He wants to put Joshua in the easiest possible fights cant risk lose to Fury or Wilder and risk losing joshua value even more Hrgvoic has look like **** in his last few fights no wonder they are so desperate to make that fight now

Next year, Hearn will declare that Joshua did not have enough time to prepare, so he will push the fantasy fight with Wilder to the end of 2024...

Hearn knows Wilder would send Joshua to the shadow realm. He still thinks he can milk a few more fights out of him.

For fighting Hrgovic? Nah. Does Deontay even want to fight Joshua? We have no idea of the terms.

You can't have a go at a boxer for choosing a title fight over a bigger pay day.

It makes perfect sense and Eddie wouldn't be doing his job right if he done differently.

If aj wins the title he is in a far stronger negotiation pov for other fights rather trying to negotiate from the position of 2 low level wins and 2 defats to usyk and no belt.

As $hit as it is, eddie is just doing what he should be doing and maximising the money that aj can earn.

I for one am not an AJ fan, but as a fan of boxing i wish him well.
But i do have respect and admiration for any person that steps inside the ring, i certainly would not label any fighter a coward under any circumstances, regardless of their abilities.

Who has Wilder fought in the last 3 years? Fury seems more concerned with circus events than defend any of his titles against his contenders!!! At least Joshua has fought the best option out there...not once....but twice!!! Some coward that is ????

It seems there will always be a reason why Joshua-Wilder doesn't get made.

No question Hearn wants to cash out with AJ. He thought he was against Wilder, now that he has an opportunity for two last cash out fights with the first being easier and winnable, it's a no-brainer about the decision.

People need to get things in perspective, rather than just going off the deep end because they are (as we all are) disappointed at the Joshua vs Wilder fight still not being made.

Ask yourself this - if Wilder announced today that he was going to fight Hrgovic in his next fight, at the beginning of next year, would you be calling him a coward and a fraud? No you would not - you would be praising his fearlessness and desire to be a champion, whilst simultaneously gloating at Hearn and Joshua and telling them they are irrelevant etc etc.

For some reason, even with his activity and comparatively deep resume, Joshua will always be held to a different standard than Wilder (and to a degree Fury). Fury is the one fighting a novice next, whilst Wilder is just refusing to fight anyone period.

    get a grip.

Eddie will sell his dead golden goose to the highest bid

A plastic belt with no value is a false hope & Hurgo KO's AJ.
