Self abuse and cheating on a spouse doesn't bother me that much, my line is people abusing other people, and even that is inconsisent I base it on the severity of the abuse, abuse of a minor and killing your wife ranks pretty high.

So how do you know these people that don't like Mayweather because of his assault of women don't like him because they have been in Mayweather's children positions when the father attacks the mother? It is quite common.

The only thing that is odd about a boxing questioning a fighters moral fiber outside the ring is that you think it's odd that someone doesn't like Mayweather as a person because he's beaten up women.

Considering that no one who posts here knows Mayweather on a personal basis and hangs out with him and those who do rigorously point out what they deem as character flaws for him never ever do for any other fighters and in fact support fighters with similar personal histories, yeah, I sort of do.

Corrales beat up women. Rumors that Gatti did too. Will that change how any of their current fans view them? No. People will look to find reasons to justify their feelings. It is just bias, usually for different or more reasons than led on.

In my book no MAN beats on a woman only cowardly punks do that. But when that woman beater claims to be the best fighter ever it proves what a coward he really is.
He wont fight a man in the ring unless he has all the advantages & is practically guaranteed he'll get the decision. He has a yellow streak up his back a mile wide

Yet guys like Pacquiao and Khan get the same treatment yet you don't jump to their aid...

Hey to the guy who keeps talking about Pac slaughtering chickens, why is that wrong? I like **** fights, and I can't for the life of me ever understand this whole animal rights deal that is so prevalent in the west. The whole Michael Vick thing also had me perplexed. I didn't even know who this guy was that people were making a big deal over dog fights. Dog fights happen daily, get over it. Why are people in the west so in love with animals??? Don't worry about chickens they are animals not human beings or even higher primates.

I guess I'm one of these people that are in love with animals. There is no purer love than that of a dog for his master. Say I'm crazy if you want but through the years Ive shared my life with many dogs and cats & I preferred their company than probably 50% of the human beings I knew

:good Trying to claim Pacquiao having an affair and slaughtering chickens, to Mayweather's woman beating is extreme clutching at straws.

I liked Vladimir Klitschko when Sdunek trained him after Steward turned him into Lennox Lewis II, not so much.

:verysad:-(Anyone who can look at a dog and want that dog to fight to the death with another one, is an evil piece of ****. I don't care as much about chickens but dogs are very evolved creatures.:-:)verysad

I guess I will never understand that mentality. In fact the one area where I prefer the Chinese culture and government to ours, is it's laws (or lack there of) and policies regarding animals.

Well in certain parts of the world they would disagree. In Asia for example they eat dogs and even make coats out of them. Cultural differences man. I can also say I am curious about the taste myself. Although they say anyone who's been to TJ has already had a dog taco lmao!!!

I kind of the same way. I'm a fan of Floyd but, like you, I want someone to beat him that I really like.

Mayweather hit those guys when they wernt looking , if your out and somebody hits you when your not looking you arnt going to like that nobody does, people hate that in fact, if you started a fight and somebody did that pacquio double punch its nothing , your taking no common sense into anything your writing , pacquio did a unique move that left himself wide open and couldnt have done muchg damage mayweather could have ****ed them up mayweather took an advantage that many others wouldnt because its wrong.

I dont look for stuff about fighters personal lives because im not that interested, there'd probably be more guys i didnt like if they got the same exposure as mayweather, he just comes across bad its all bad news and the majority dont like him. The things mayweather done bad i seen for myself and the way he comes across, tabloid stories are an other things fall in line with the way he acts.
You said its odd people judge fighters from their personal lives but its the way he is in the ring too and all the bull**** around it that he does himself.
