I like his relentlessness of going to the body with abandon last fight, but he needs a better gameplan if he wants to compete with the best.
I'm coming around, sure I'll say I'm becoming a fan! Does he merit the position he's found himself, no, but it's not his fault his name serves such merit!
I've been rooting for Jr. from the get go. Early on I realized he was not a chip of the old block and would probably never be a "champion"; He already exceeded MY expectations so anything after this is just gravy. He is not that skilled but he is an earnest fighter and I will continue to look forward to all of his fights!
I'll root for him but he looked bad against Zbik. I don't understand why so many people hate him though. I would understand if they hate Brandon Rios the **** talker but Chavez? really?
Let me ask you this if a fighter simply has no power how else does he win? By work rate, and he out worked and out landed Chavez Jr... Power is not the only deciding factor in a fight, clean effective punching does not mean who has more power, it just means the shots that you land have to be clean and effective and in this case they were, they were clean and effective enough to keep Chavez from blowing this guy out and there were several times in which this guy made Chavez hit the reverse gear as well... I am sorry but a fighter with lesser power should not be punished for that especially when he out works his opponent..
